Wonderfully kept hotel. My family and I were super comfortable for our 1 night stay, wish it could have been longer. Breakfast was plentiful and very good quality. Highly recommend.

Just be careful not to park your car on the street. It's only for card holders. There was parking in the 'closed down' supermarket car park next door though.

The building was impressive as was the garden. There was an excellent selection of fruit, meats, bread and eggs for breakfast.

We were in a twin room. That isn’t usually a problem for us as the two separate beds are well secured to each other. This wasn’t the case here. I woke a few times during the night to put the mattresses back on base of the beds.

The host was delightful and the room was adequate for the five of us with good kitchen facilities and a nice sized shower room. The B&B was very easy to find on arrival and was just a short walk away from the centre. The bacon and eggs at breakfast were delicious!

The only access to our room was by a concrete spiral staircase which was outside. For my daughter who is scared of heights this was a real issue. Even for the rest of the family coming down them, especially when carrying anything, did not feel comfortable. We were fortunate that it was dry during our stay as I definitely would not have wanted to negotiate them in the rain (and only being able to carry one bag at a time would have meant extended use of them!)

Magda made us an early breakfast as we were catching an early Eurotunnel train. We were able to park the motorcycle securely in the garage. Nice short walk to centre of Ypres.

Lovely warm welcome at the B&B including letting us park our motorbikes in the garage to keep them secure. We had the family room upstairs for the 2 of us, really big with comfy beds and great facilities. Only slight complication was the tight spiral staircase to get to the upper rooms as a person on crutches! It was fine in the end but something to note. Breakfast was fabulous as other guests have described.

    Nothing.

The host was amazing & the breakfast was 5 star. Absolutely brilliant, we will return.

The only minor issue was the mattress was past its best. Other wise no issues.⁹

Lovely breakfast and garden; room attached to terrace where we could sit outside and enjoy cool air and golden hour view. Attentive hostess. Free parking suggestion provided. Short walk to city attractions . Nice base for exploring Flanders area.

No AC (as advertised); shower water had sulfurous smell. Would stay again if weather is moderate.

The property and the garden are beautiful our room was very comfortable and very clean. The location is fantastic for all the history of Ypres walking distance to the Groatmarket and the Menim Gate. The owner is lovely and has created a lovely atmosphere and at a small additional charge you can park your motorbike securely in her garage. I will use this property again.
