Considering the location is central of the city, it was a very quiet area and very relaxed,we only met the host on the last day of our stay but she was a lovely person and spoke very nicely.

Fabulous location with free parking 3 min walk away. Generous breakfast and lovely hostess Jo. Easy self check in.

The huge open plan bathroom was an interesting feature- personally would prefer a door and a larger shower! Wifi was very slow.

The room was a good size and nicely divided from the bathroom area. It was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet despite facing out onto the street. Location is splendid with bars and restaurants in easy walking distance as was the central square of Ypres. There is also a lovely little courtyard which was perfect for sitting out before going to bed.

Cozy place to relax in a central location of the city with free parking around. Bed is comfortable with big room enough space. Breakfast could be arranged with the lady Joe.

Street light adjacent to bedroom window was annoying despite blackout curtains. Noise from traffic on cobbles outside. Infrequent but unsettling. Shower was unnecessarily complicated. No milk in room nor wifi code. Had to go down two flights of stairs to get either.

The rooms are spacious, stylish and well-designed. The location was central but relatively quiet. It's a very easy walk to get to the Grote Markt with all the restaurants and on to the Menin Gate. There is plenty of free parking just round the corner on the Minneplein.

We happened to stay during a heatwave, which meant that the bedrooms were very warm, there being no air conditioning. Thankfully there was a fan, which made things bearable. The plumbing was a little querky - the cold water ran very hot for a few minutes before the cold water eventually arrived.

Mrs Jo was a fantastic host. And you couldn't wish for a more central location. The room was nice and large with a great shower.

Constant issues with the lock on the room door. The catch kept sticking.

Room was different, cool layout

The only thing I could say I didn’t like was the lack of air conditioning or fly nets on the windows. I had to leave the windows open because it was very hot and had some insect bite the next day. The place was perfect other than this and the weather was exceptionally hot.
