Narrow smsll winding stairs to second floor room. No real lounge area to relax in other than the breakfast area. However there is a small outdoor area T the back of the building. Location wasn’t very attractive, across from the police station (frequent loud sirens ) no restaurants or shops nearby but within a ten minute easy walk to the main square which was very beautiful.

Very nice large room. Our room, which was the largest, was well furnished and decorated. Very clean. Nicely done renovation of a very old building. Friendly and helpful host.

Koen was a great host, breakfast was prepared every morning, location was walking distance to city center. Safe, quite area, room had a nice garden view. Bed, pillow and linens were all very comfortable. Windows had screens, so it was nice to have them open in the evening for cool air and no bugs. Koen was very accommodating on my arrival and departure times!

The room was downstairs, and I could hear voices from the kitchen and the hall during breakfast hours- otherwise it was calm and quiet.

The hotel is cosy and family-run. I loved the ambient and tasty breakfasts. The room was big enough, with a big bed and a small desk, which was useful for working and having tea. There was everything I needed. The location worked fine for me. It's quiet in the neighborhood. It took me around 10 minutes to the city centre and 25 minutes on foot to the main train station. The bus stop is also a minute away.

Very friendly and personal welcome by the B&B hosts Els and Koen, spacy room with a view to a well-kept garden that was open for guests to stay in, many small details in room, shower, bathroom that showed the care the hosts must have put in preparing the room, and - extra-special - breakfast services with freshly-squeezed orange juice and omlette prepared by Koen, the host, with care and friendlyness. I very happily look forward to any next opportunity to return to this place, which, on top of all else is conveniently located less than five minutes footwalk from the historic city center.

It was a wonderful experience, Koen was very lovely and kind, was on point for questions and gave us lots of tips for Mechelen. Breakfast was very good, thanks to his personal touch, too bad we stayed only 1 night, but will definitely return to his bnb. The location is super convenient to all main attractions and parking was next door, all in all, everything was perfect!

Everything ! Wonderful host. Breakfast was superb. Everything very fresh and also cooked eggs and bacon to order. Beautifully renovated property to a very high standard. Location close to city and reasonably priced parking garage around the corner.

The scrambled eggs were somehow surprisingly tasteless (alternatively there could have been a boiled egg or a fried egg). Otherwise everything else was wonderful!

The hosts were very friendly. At breakfast we were given good tips for our stay. The breakfast was well prepared, extensive and offered a good selection. The loud ring road could not be heard in the room.

There was a very strong smell of perfume in the front hall, and for me as an HSP it was a bit much!

Exceptional breakfast put on by our host Miro. It was like eating in a luxurious version of my ultimate kitchen! The rooms were very tastefully decorated, and our view on to the back garden was very peaceful. Everything was incredibly clean, and our host was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed everything about this property. The hosts were very nice and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. The b&b is located in a quiet area, a few minutes away from the city center. The breakfast was very good with multiple choices. The whole building is decorated and designed in a stylish way and the attention to details is present everywhere.

The friendliest hosts I’ve ever had at a B&B before! I went for Tomorrowland so I missed breakfast most days as I didn’t get in until around 3am and they always made me up a plate and left it for me to make sure I had something to eat. They went above and beyond and absolutely exceeded my expectations. Super welcoming and genuine people. Always checking in on me to make sure I had everything I need. I will be booking here from now on every year! The room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Overall a 10/10 experience! Also a great, central location that’s walking distance to pretty much everything you need!

From arrival to departure, the hosts created a positive experience for us. They provided a safe, secure place for our bicycles. The room and bathroom were spacious and well designed. The property included many memorable design features, from wall art to the tasteful breakfast room. Breakfast included homemade items (granola, bread) and eggs served in a unique manner. Location is great for a walk to the centre.
