The beds were really comfortable, one of the best in my whole excursion this year. The location was good and the house has a characteristic design.

Excellent location, very clean, comfortable and pretty room, very easy to check in and check out, appreciated the coffee machine in the room and the view of the river. Very quiet too, although it's right in the historical centre.

    Property response:

    Bedankt 🙏

Location - close to the Old town and also close to restaurants. The property is peaceful and relaxing with your own seating area by the canal.

This was our first time in Brugge and this location was absolutely perfect. Close to the train station and to the centre. Also bike hire just around the corner. We booked two rooms and both were unique and thoughtfully designed. Very comfortable and clean. Having the little terrace was perfect for an evening drink or morning coffee. It was perfect!

Quiet, easy access and close to everything in town. Pubs and restaurants less than 100m walk, restful location for a quiet break. We enjoyed sitting out the back for coffee and snaks and afternoon drinks. Improvements would be better lighting, remove the low lights that were always being hit and provide some luggage racks for bags. A double power point for the fridge/coffee machine would also mean we wouldn’t have to wait a day to realise the fridge wasn’t on. Be aware there is no TV.

The location is absolutely fantastic, close to a large parking and also to one of the main squares. The main center, other squares and the main streets, are only 10-15 walking. The room is nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable.

Unfortunately there are quite some negative points. As already mentioned in many other reviews, the air in the room smells quite bad. Ventilation of the room is very bad, which was confirmed by the owner when contacting them about this. However, the proposed solution was ridiculous: "leave the door to the hall and to outside open", not really a solution when we are in the room nor when we are sleeping (not safe). Although the beds are clean they were not cleaned properly, as the bedsheets (especially the cushions) smelled bad (which was solved when complained about it). The hanging positions of the lamps near the bed and toiled is really bad, every time you get up from either on of them you need to pay close attention (to not hit your head). Warm water is insufficiently available, so a warm shower will either be short or not available. And lastly, insulation of the floor is very poor, so when you are in a bottom room you will very clearly (and loudly) hear the guests upstairs. Overall, great location but very uncomfortable, in almost all ways. And when raising complaints the support is very poor. Way overpriced in terms of value for money. Definitely not recommended...

Location was fantastic everything was in walking distance of the hotel. The room was very warm and cosy, and the beds were super comfortable.

There wasn't a tv in the room.

Comfortable stay. Big perk is the location - excellent spot to explore historic Bruges and not far from the train station.

We weren't fans of the bathroom/shower setup. It's very, very open. And there are a few hanging decorations and lamps that are really easy to bump into.

Loved the location in the city centre. Place was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was brilliant! Good coffee machine and outside area.

I wast happy about the cubicle as a toilet. It made privacy difficult. A tv would have also been nice.

Loved the bed, super comfortable! Decorated beautifully! Terrace just so peaceful:)

Cigarette smoke blowing into our room from terrace next door but that’s not the property’s fault. Could implement a no smoking rule?

    The location was EXCEPTIONAL!!!

The room had too many low hanging lamps. I banged my head against the ones by the bed and the one in the toilet area was ridiculous! It was impossible to go to the toilet and not get tangled up in a lamp. Just ridiculous! Also, no fan was provided and the room desperately needed air circulation even with the back door open.

Everything in the room was very well put together. The room is perfectly lit and has a nice private balcony. The shower is exceptionally roomy. The location is the highlight for me. After arriving from a long train journey I only needed a six minute walk to get to this location. The proximity to the rest of Bruges is also great; its tucked away in a quiet street, but has easy access to the rest of the city. The little balcony is a nice touch when you want to spend the evening drinking wine or enjoying a Belgian beer.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about for me! I was so pleased with every little detail. My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time here.

The location was everything! Quite yet just a couple hundred of feet from everything! The canal along the back of our room was so beautiful and serene. We spent each morning out there having tea or coffee.

The only issue we came across was the show didn’t drain or drained very slowly. We had to keep towels on the floor to prevent the water from going all over the bathroom floor.

Location is good, very close to the centre and also easy to get there from the main station.

There is NO separation between the bed room, the shower and the toilet. No doors and just a tiny wall that stops at about eye level covering the toilet corner. The shower is surrounded by a glass wall right in the middle of the room. We never met any staff, they just sent us the code for the front door and the key was in the lock. Since they seemed to have done the same for the people staying there after us, they enabled them to surprise us in our room when we had not left yet (we didn't lock the door because we were about to leave soon and didn't expect anybody to suddenly open it). Also, there's no guarantee the staff got the local tax they asked us to leave behind in cash in the room.

Room was perfectly apportioned with fantastic facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great.

The room is too hot, the heating is on all of the time which makes it cosy at first but sweaty afterwards. It would have been nice to have fresh milk with the tea making facilities rather than the milk sachets available.
