Pretty bedroom, automatic doors, very clean, lift, coffee machine, television (Smart TV), balcony

Bed (could be more comfortable), no hallway between the lift and our room (outside, not nice when it’s raining)

You can't beat the location of this hotel. It's also beautifully decorated and designed. The rooms are large for European hotel rooms.

Our only complaint is that the cleaning crew did very minimal cleaning while we were out during the day. The shower was never touched (which was a big deal since we are always returning from the beach and rinsing sand off our bodies, so the shower got pretty icky pretty fast), and it seems the floor was never swept or vacuumed (same issue - sand everywhere).

Considering the hotel has only 3 stars, the standard is decent, one of the better 3 star hotels I have stayed in, in terms of looks and quality of facilities. The decor is beautiful, the restaurant is very comfortable, with breakfast being tasty and plentiful.

The problem was the price. For 1 night in 1 room, I paid 4-5 times the standard price. I understand prices can vary due to demand, but such a fluctuation is exuberant and thus represents poor value. When checking in, the front desk agent said "that's a lot" - I can only assume she was referring to the price of my booking. On top of this, I was still charged extra for breakfast, which just rubbed salt into the wound and gave the feeling of being ripped off even more. For the price I paid, I could stay in 4/5 star hotel in a city like London or Paris, not a 3 star hotel in De Panne.

Great location. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. They allowed us to do a late check out without extra charge.

Bathroom had a little smell of humidity. The noise from the corridor was audible through the bedroom door.

Amazing location, beautiful lobby and rooms and there's free water and coffee included. The staff are friendly and even though the noise of the seagulls came through, all the rest of it made up for it. I would certainly want to stay here again!

The Hotel was amazing. It exceeded by far our expectations. The room was very comfortable, spacious and bright with very nice design and attention to details. It has a tiny balcony as well. The location is very good, you can see the sea from the windows and to get to the beach you need about 3 minutes by foot. The hotel is also very easy to find, it's on one of the main streets, literally 1 minute by foot from the tram station. There isn't a restaurant as far as we've seen, but all around there are many many restaurants from which to choose, including a cocktail bar next door.

It seems to be more of a country particularity, but all the restaurants close quite soon, after 22.00 it's extremely difficult to find anything open. In the hotel as well, while there is the possibility to order drinks, that's possible only until 22.00. And as far as I know, it wasn't possible to order room service. But these are very tiny details that really didn't matter in the end.
