Our en-suite door wasn’t easy to close and flimsy to move and the main door to the building was stiff to open and shut

It was an easy walk to the centre of town and plenty of restaurants and bars close, it was a surprisingly quiet area and the room was quiet and larger than average

One of the pillows on the bed was dirty. Steps of the stairs were very narrow and family was on the fourth floor so was daunting enough

Was was 3/4 minute walk from the main square Staff were very accommodating. Family room was very spacious even though bathroom was tiny. Was expecting it to be noisy but was very quiet.

The photos online are better than the reality. The room was not cleaned at all during my stay. The hotel claims to be family-run, but there was no one at reception at any time — the owner only appeared to hand over the keys and collect payment. The building is old and has no soundproofing whatsoever. One of the nights I stayed, there was a party nearby, and I could hear loud music and people on the street all night long. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Despite being told the hotel had been refurbished, overall the hotel looks run down. Everything is flimsy or broken. The worst part for us comes from having found bed bugs in our daughter's bed. Once back home, we found the same bed bugs in her bag, which is really concerning.

The manager was kind during check-in, which was our only encounter with staff during the whole stay. The hotel location is very central.

An excellent location, but looking very tired inside. The reception is only open for a short time and on getting to our room there was no toilet paper, so I had to shoot out to purchase some. I mentioned it to the cleaner when I saw him, and he left a roll two days later. All in all though, it was okay value for the money and you couldn’t fault the location.

Floors are really creaky and there is almost no soundproofing between floors and walls so we could hear other guests easily. Unfortunately the guests above us were very loud and yelling frequently in the middle of the night. The size of the room was great, the bathroom was a little tight. We were on the third floor and the stairs are extremely steep and I had to walk down sideways on them to keep from falling. The staff was very friendly though.

The property is very decent overall. There is no one in the reception and in general the staff is never there if you need anything. The room was comfortable but absolutely clean. They didn’t clean our room or change our towels during the day. Also, the building is very old and not renovated, as a result there is no insulation.

The property is at an excellent location in the city, very close to all the sightseeing and just in the heart of city’s nightlife. Also, the train station is just 30 minutes walking distance, or by car around 5-10 mins. We really enjoyed that!

Shower had very weak pressure & the shower door (instead of a shower curtain) couldn't close. The toilet seat was also loose. The walls in the room and the mirror were stained.

Location is perfect, bed was also very nice. Staff was friendly and it was nice that we could leave our luggage during the day on our last day.

Photos online make the hotel/rooms look a lot better quality than they are. Disappointed that the breakfast room was closed and not an option. It would be good to have mentioned that breakfast was not available.

We had a stay in a room on the third floor. During a sunny day it will become hot. Although we had a fan, I slept very bad due to the high temperature in the room. Room was a bit smelly. With eur 275, not really value for money.

It was dated, there were repairs needed and the stairs being an old building were very uneven.

The location was great, the room felt clean and there was a powerful fan to help with the heat.
