I could have read the instructions on how to get there, as I am older and was tired after a long journey.

Glenn was wonderful and took me to a gorgeous room overlooking the garden, beautiful Belgium linen and 2 chocs by the bedside table.. Delicious coffee in the morning and I met the amazing Alix who designed the place, def had that womens touch. It was like a 10 star hotel and yet so tranquil to stay.

This was an amazing place to stay and was perfect for our holiday to Ghent. The building is gorgeous, along with the surrounding gardens. The staff were very easy to communicate with too. Close to the train and trams, plus restaurants nearby.

Its mainly my fault for not watching the video, but there are so many key boxes it took me a while, and help, to find the right one. I was the only guest, for several nights, but on one occasion there was a woman also staying. I was able to reassure her, and it certainly helped that we were at the same conference, and I was able to make sure she knew exactly who I was and who we knew in common, but I felt that it did put her in a slightly vulnerable position staying in the property with a man she did not know. I wonder if theres anything that could have been done to make that easier for her.

Unfortunately the public toilet was not cleaned, same as the floor in our room ( sticky and dirty ). The toilet in the room is in the open space, right behind the bed (no walls) so this set up is not the best for privacy nor hygiene. The walls are very thin so you can hear all activities from your neighbors.

Great location, very nice and interesting interior. Very friendly host. The bed was comfortable.

There was nothing that we didn't like. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We received a warm welcome with our check-in. The property is beautiful and so green. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and the bed was amazing which was perfect after a long day of sight-seeing. You are a short walk from the city centre and other amenities as well as the train station. Very well situated.

It is a very clam and relaxing place. Looking at the green backyard and listening the songs of the birds made us so happy. We felt like at home and will definetly would like to stay there in our next trip to Ghent.
