Nothing not to like about the property. The district is fairly small, but all the essential things are there bank supermarket places to eat etc there are larger facilities in the next town.

It is no reflection on the hotel but the town itself is pretty quiet so not mamy options to eat late at night unless you get back in the car.

Not a big deal, but one of the glasses in the room was dirty upon arrival. For the rest the room was immaculate.

Staff were wonderful. Building was amazing. Room was incredible. Location is perfect for going into Ghent. Free parking out front as well!

Anke and Niels are young and very dedicated hosts. We were able to communicate directly via WhatsApp and arrange things like a late check-in or even a vegan breakfast. Especially the vegan breakfast was a highlight that made our stay perfect. Anke and Niels were very accommodating of our "special needs" regarding the food, always friendly and understanding. The clementine is an old manor house and captivates with its architecture and interior design. An additional plus is the large, enclosed and fully fenced garden. Our young dog could move around freely there, play with us, and burn off some energy. Also perfect for kids I think because you can lock the gate to the street. For our needs, the stay was perfect, and we are really looking forward to coming back, as the visit was wonderful—but unfortunately, far too short.

Everything was great! We arrived early and we were welcomed by our hosts with a drink at the bar to settle us in while our room was being serviced. Slept so comfortably, beds and pillows were soft and cozy. The room was spacious. The copper tub was lovely! Woke up on Mother’s Day and enjoyed a super hot relaxing soak. A Mother’s Day brunch was served with champagne and happiness!! What a lovely stay! Thank you 😊

There was nothing negative, was everything just beautiful.

Everyhing hier is just beautiful....If you are looking for a charming, historical, mysterious place that will transport you back in time, this castle-like house will delight you. The staff could not be more kind and helpful! They told us the entire history of the house. The breakfast is so good and is served directly to the table, very elegantly, as if you were a king. Of course we will repeat this beautiful experience.

Really something different. Very nice authentic early 1900 building with beautiful rooms and very friendly and helpful owners. If you want a change from the classic hotels, this is the place to go.

We were surprised that on the booking website it was stated that breakfast was included in the price, but on site it turned out that this was not true and that we had to pay extra. In the end we did not take breakfast sle due to our tight schedule.

There was no air conditioning in the room, but they put a huge fan.

That I couldn't stay longer. A fabulous home.

A lovely welcome from Niels and a tour of the house. We had room 4, and it was fantastic. Lovely view and a balcony next to the room, perfect for relaxing with a drink. Mini bar, kettle, coffee machine all in the room. Plus a fan which was very appreciated in this hot weather. Then there's the biggest bath you've ever seen. A lovely goodbye from Niels wife.
