Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe shower room had transparent walls and the room lighting was over complicated- we couldn’t find a way to unlink the motion sensor lights with the light in the loo.
Beautiful setting, clean and very attractively furnished. The breakfast was fabulous- and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

United KingdomNot quite sure of the steep stairs up the the mezzanine bed. You might need to look at the light sensor setting for the main part of the room as it was a little too quick.
A lovely fresh prepared breakfast in a wonderful spacious room

NetherlandsWe came to stay primarily for the restaurant. Although stylish and upscale-looking, the food was most underwhelming. Bland and lacking any type of character with the exception of dessert, which was delicious. Combined with steep prices and Michelin guide expectations, it was quite disappointing. Probably, the worst Michelin guide restaurant we've been to.
Great location, impeccable design, good ambiance. Lovely breakfast.

Lovely welcome, excellent staff, quiet and safe. Dinner was superb, every single dish comprehensively flavoured, intense sauce reductions, textures mixed, presentation beyond gorgeous, and the theatre kitchen with its calm purposeful demeanour a joy to watch!

United KingdomThe shower in the family room was not private for the rest of the family meaning my son and I had to vacate the room whilst my wife and daughter were showering, and vice versa.
Everything was fine for the location and the breakfast was very nice. We were able to have a very nice night's sleep, but be careful as the stairs/ladder to the children's sleeping area is rather steep

United KingdomNo shower after a long drive and the restaurant was closed due to a private function. The car park was very busy and you had to walk over gravel to access your vehicle.
There was a leak at the hotel which meant we had no shower or toilet facilities in the room. It was unfortunate that this happened however i did have to ask for a discount and only 10% was offered.

Czech RepublicUnfortunately, this wasn't entirely the case. "Entire unit wheelchair accessible" means that two out of four occupants need to climb up a stairs (more precisely a ladder) to reach the mezzanine beds. While the unit was generally clean, there were noticeable patches of dust on some surfaces. We were unable to make the AC work (with 30 deg outside), possibly not working at all/overloaded. In the morning, the same staff member was responsible for both breakfast and reception, located on opposite sides of the building with no direct line of sight (and was not really hiding the fact that she would prefer to be somewhere else, completely). This results in a queue at the checkout with people trying to chase her in the breakfast area. Not the kind of experience you'd want to have when leaving a hotel. The fact that she did not try to speak otherwise than dutch (I guess) was just a topping on a cake. We most likely hit a staffing shortage in the high season, but the resulting experience was rather conflicting.
The stay was a bit of a mixed experience. The hotel itself is new/renovated and well equipped. We only stayed overnight and didn't have any extra needs. It is nicely accessible with a car, and based on the price, one would expect a smooth experience.

ItalyReception not very present. At check in nobody answered external phone. In restaurant ( alternative check in), I entered and didn’t see anybody in 30 min. I left again and somebody let me in without saying one word. There are key lockers unclear how to use with provided pin ( 8 lockers, which one to take ?)

United KingdomThe lights operated on a PIR and unless you kept moving, they kept going out.....(we couldn't override that) The shower was see through glass into the main living are, which for my two teenage boys, was a discomfort. We travelled as a family but the room and place appears to be driven towards singles, business, or couples. Not a complaint, as if I was travelling alone, or with a partner, then this place is wonderful.
The room was spacious and well equipped - the bed was super-comfortable. The entire place is set in a nice environment. Overall it felt nice and cosy.
