The hotel is in very beautiful surroundings - has a lake next to it and a lot of green space. There are many rabbits around. It's also not far from the city. It's a great location if you travel with a dog.

The hotel is a little outdated and the shower set-up is not the most convenient. Yet, while the other points can be ignored, the breakfast cannot - it's absolutely miserable. I am not sure how a 4-star hotel can serve such poor breakfast and think that it's ok...

Location was good near coast and Bruges, Staff were extremely helpful and polite throughout. Accessibility facilities were excellent. Breakfast was fresh and a variety of options available excellent quality baked goods.

As it was rated 4* I expected more comfort and facilities possibly a little luxury! Evening menu limited and little expensive for what it was.

It's an odd-shaped hotel, but very cozy. We had one dinner and breakfast at the Hotel, nothing fancy, but all was good.

The hotel is prepared for the elderly and people with disabilities, in every room and throughout the hotel. I think due to its past, you can feel a characteristic smell .

Very nice lake, with helpful staff & pleasant surroundings. Overall a nice experience I can recommend.

Recommend having a car if you don't, bit isolated. Should be a bit more flexible with dogs off lead or have a fenced dog area

Room was very clean and relax to stay. Breakfast was very good quality.

It is better if room have more good quality refrigerator to keep drinks cold. Also if there is microwave machine even common use is fine.

Quiet, clean. I’m super sensitive to mold and am not comfortable staying in the very old town of Brugge, so this is the perfect stay for me when I’m in Brugge. Just 5 minutes from the bus who is 15 minutes from the city center. Good big room, nice breakfast, nice sauna.

The beds are two single beds. When sleeping two, it’s easy to end in between the two beds…

Nice trail around lake

Breakfast was rather poor. The hotel is like a retired home or something ? I might not noticed that during reservation, so I was suprised

Beautiful setting on the lake. Spacious rooms with moveable beds, breakfast available, spa and gym on site

Nowhere for dog to have a run around off lead, breakfast nice but quite limited, gym limited equipment. Would have been great to have a pool.

The breakfast is good, quality butter croissants surprised me. Sauna area is nice and not crowded, with a nice tree view out the window.

Room service could pay more attention to cleaning the floor. Had a little incident one of the 3 days of staying-the room was not cleaned the towels not changed (room service forgotten but marked as done), in the evening i had to clean up with a broom. But thanks fo Jean in the reception he was so nice and for the inconvenience they eliminated my bill for laundry as a nice gesture for a misunderstanding with room service. :)

Location and view were amazing

Beds were not very comfy, we had to ask for extra pillows because only one small one was provided per guest, plus amenities like hand soap were missing

The Location is great, close to Brugge or the sea and a really lovely en quiet aria.

Restaurant was open only from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a very limited menu. No service at room which is not acceptable for such expensive stay

The property is located by a lake to which is very beautiful and peaceful. The room is very spacious, however can’t help feeling a little too empty due to its size.

On first night of stay we’ve found one of the bed covered in fine sand on the bed sheet and it was obvious that the sheet hasn’t been replaced from the last guest. Upon reporting this to the reception the next morning and request the sheet is being replaced ( quite reasonable request we think) the receptionist didn’t apologise but seemed rather upset and he dashed away behind the door to which we thought he went to speak to the team about it. When we return from the day out, we’ve realised that they’ve done absolutely nothing to replace the dirty bed sheet. We didn’t make further complaint as we are leaving the next morning but was very disappointed. That said the staff worked in the breakfast room are rather lovely.
