The hotel room is a little over engineered. Toilet is near bed and no fan to move air. Television is way too large for the room which is unnecessary and also in a dangerous position. Shower glass is not frosted so you can see right into the shower, no privacy.

When you take a shower, the water leaks out of the shower into the living area. The TV is huge and it’s placement was badly planned because it blocks the sink area and the coffee area. The bathroom amenities were almost empty and the hand wash soap was « refilled » with water so it was barely of a soap content. It is quite far from the Knokke beach (about 20-30 mins walking).

It is just beside the train station of Knokke so it is easy to arrive to the hotel by train coming from Brussels. The staff are very welcoming - higher level of customer service compared to other parts of Belgium. The hotel is modern and the surrounding buildings are also new, with two groceries next door, nice restaurants within 5 min walking and a shopping street 10 mins by walking from the hotel. Everything can be accessed through an iPad in the room (aircon - although it was not as cold, room lighting, room service, TV channels, alarm, etc).

This is a minor suggestion for the hotel — there should be better signage for how to get to the elevator on the upper floors. It’s a little confusing and could be dangerous in an emergency.

The hotel is brand new and has a very zen vibe to it. The room was large, comfortable, and modern. There was a huge balcony. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach. It can be a little tricky finding the parking lot, but it is free and convenient. The customer service was excellent — the front desk was super helpful making dinner reservations for us.

Airco A small car for carrying suitcases

It was a very nice hotel; nice rooms; nice restaurant; friendly staff. I deducted a star because of two reasons. Firstly, in my opinion the a/c was not working optimal and secondly, they didn't have the facility for a small carrying car/service for carrying the suitcases upstairs from the garage. So if you park in the garage and have several suitcases carrying all of them in/out of the room at one time could be bit of a hussle. However, when I go to Knokke again, it'll be the hotel I could stay.. That's for sure..

we don't like the toilet door in the room , which is glass door, we prefer to be in private on the toilet ! the only mirror in the room is too small, one cannot check outfit before going out

The only downside (for us) were the pillows - too high and too hard to our liking, and the glass door to the toilet. It would be also nice to get slippers, as the floors are cold. But it didn’t affect our overal pleasant experience.

The area was very close to the center! Good bed and very clean. Very nice restaurant with a very beautiful interior.

ipad on room did not work at all (screen freeze) which means you cannot do anything in the room except turing on/off lights - transparant glass doors of shower and toilet make it not suited for sharing rooms with colleagues/friends - light of toilet switches on automatically as well during the night thus , in combo with glass door, awakens partner who's sleeping / surroundings of hotel is poor (next to train station) BUT this will be refurbished during upcoming years / not in city centre but shopping street is not more than 5-8' walking away

very nice atmosphere/colors, very warm, cosy and spacious rooms / very good bed! / tastful breakfast in WOYO EATERY for democratic prices (seen location/setting)
