Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaMe and my family stayed here for 2 nights in Bruges and the experience was amazing ! The along with his friends are really nice and helpful. He started with guiding us how we could make the most of this city. The rooms are really nice and clean. Located just 300 meters away from entering the center. I would come and stay here again, and so should you if you are planning to visit Bruges

United StatesThere is not a/c but Leiven set us up with a mini cooler and a large rotating fan.
Beautiful and peaceful grounds - we stayed in the side house with a wall of windows! The breakfast was delicious with homemade jam and with “from the garden” touches. Delicious.

United KingdomThis B&B is on the pricier side which we didn’t mind when we saw how beautiful it was however the extra 40 euros for parking 2 cars for 2 days isn’t included in the price. It was good to know the cars were just outside and locked behind the gate so were safe.
This is a BEAUTIFUL B&B that is maintained to an exceptional standard. The owner, Lieven , clearly takes pride in what was his family home growing up. Rooms are spotless and we loved all the small touches like water in the rooms, local information, a lovely welcome note, dressing gowns and toiletries. There is a huge garden at the rear of the property which is so lovely with fruit trees and areas to sit. We didn’t take breakfast at the property but I believe it would have been delicious. The B&B is the perfect location to explore Brugge with the square about 25 mins walk away. Lieven is extremely helpful in recommending places to visit and going over the map of the area with us. Would definitely recommend a visit to Fine Fleur.

The house was just a short walk from Bruges city center, and with the map and tips we were given it made exploring the city much easier. All in all we had a wonderful stay at this B&B. United StatesZero complaints!
Our stay was perfect. We loved the room (we had one of the little garden rooms) because it was comfortable, modern, private. Great shower. Lieven served us a wonderful breakfast each morning, with a variety of yogurt, juice, pastries, meats & cheeses, egg, and dessert. Breakfast was served in the huge garden when the weather was nice, and in the greenhouse when it was rainy. The location is terrific— very very peaceful, but just steps outside the old city gates. Also just steps away, the forested paths along the outer canal ring are just lovely and you can use them to access other points of entry into the old city. Markt square is only about a 10-15 minute walk. The train station is also about a 10 minute walk. We only planned to stay 2 nights but it became five because we were so content. Our hosts recommended day trips to Lille (France) and the beach— easy and fun.

NetherlandsThe light in toilet worked on sensor and didn’t really recognize shorter persons in our group so we had to jump in order to turn the light on. The warm water at the shower run out on the morning before the checkout, do one of the persons in our group had to have a cold shower. There is no shelf in shower cabinet, advise to the owners to add some hangable shelf so you can put your soaps and shampoos, instead of having them on the floor.
We really liked the location, the beautiful garden and the atmosphere of the place. Small castle like house in walking distance to the center of beautiful Brugge. The host was very welcoming and let us charge our electric car and leave it after checkout. The apartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable , so we slept very well.

AustraliaWe couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our long weekend getaway from the Netherlands. The owner's attention to detail made our experience truly special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The homemade breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious local ingredients. We especially appreciated the owner's recommendations, like the family-friendly bike rental with a child seat available (perfect for our little one!) to explore the city in a day, and the great Halve Maan brewery with its 4km beer pipeline. The entire stay was a blast, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend Fine Fleur B&B for anyone seeking a charming, personalized experience in Bruges!
