Excellent location, close to the centre and attractions.

Although the hotel does warn that check-in finishes at 8:30 pm, when I called to ask if I could arrive after said time they said that upon arrival I could call a number posted at the door and someone would let me in. Luckily I managed to arrive before 8:30 pm and check in fine, but to my surprise when I left in the evening and returned to the hotel I found the door closed with no number next to the door to call. If I would have arrived after 8:30 pm trusting I would be able to call to be let in I probably would not have been able to enter. The hotel should sort this out and allow later check in considering the nightly rate they charge.

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Bruges and has a very local feel. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. I did not have breakfast but there is free coffee and tea available for hotel guests in the breakfast room during the day. There is also a nice back garden. The lady at the desk was lovely and welcoming.

Conveniently and beautifully located, great breakfast, quiet at night, cozy, very clean.

Mattress was too soft for me personally and stiff stairs might be a problem for people traveling with larger luggage.

Excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

AC is uncommon in this area, we struck Bruges on a very warm night so sleeping was a bit tough but couldn’t be helped. Room did have a fan.

I booked a hotel for one night, and it was a great experience. The location is wonderful in a historical place, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and nice. The next day we went down for breakfast, and it was also perfect. Small cozy room served with everything needed.

The hotel is in a very good location, everything is very close; the breakfast is excellent; the staff is very nice and helpful

The stairs are narrow and steep; therefore, it may be difficult for older people with luggage; you can also hear the neighbors very much

Amazing building with a simple, yet comfortable hotel. The facilities are good, but the best part is the location. The breakfast was also surprisingly good, with warm options like scrambled eggs and bacon.

Lovely hotel (family run, I think). Great location, easy 15 min walk from station, quiet at night, 10-15 mins to centre of Bruges. We had an amazing corner room on one of the upper floors (room 114) with a big shuttered window with views over the street and bell tower in the distance & another window with views of the nearby church - really picturesque. We didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment, but the little dining room has a free hot drinks machine & selection of biscuits/ sweets for all guests, which was a nice touch. There’s a lovely garden area with a small aviary at the back. Lady at reception was lovely, really helpful. Highly recommend this place.

No negatives at all for me. I don’t think there’s a lift, as it’s a beautiful old building, so factor that in if any accessibility issues.

The lady at reception deserves a special mention for waiting for the slightly late arrival. There was a half of hour or so of trying to find out if we could get in but it all worked out and it was a great relief after a long drive. So many thansk to her for that!
