We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

BelgiumDue to some regional requirements, we had to bring our own sheets and covers for the bedroom. This was communicated to us in advance. However, I think I might have misunderstood this and thought towels would be provided. They weren’t - not even a hand towel in the bathroom. We also had to vacuum the house and mop the bathroom with water for our cash deposit of 250 euros. I think Hugues is taking these steps to ensure that guests take basic care of the property. However, for a small family with kids looking to get a break, I would have rather paid more so I had cleaning included.
Our host is a very kind and welcoming person. Very responsive and we enjoyed our exchanges. He has a lovely dog our daughter was very excited to see! There is an excellent grill for a bbq that we got to enjoy with Hugues’ home prepared drink made from some herbs in the garden.

Perfect for 3 couples. It's a very spacious house with modern kitchen. Located in a vibrant town close to beautiful nature areas, activities, bars and restaurants. The host was very friendly, responsive and flexible. It's close to the french border with a big supermarket. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, blinders helped to sleep and 2 bathrooms are perfect for 3 couples. Amenities were good, eg coffee machine with capsules, dishwasher, dishwasher soap. We felt like home! Private parking for min 2 cars is great on location. You have to give deposit, but the host didn't make it difficult to return (eg you dont need to clean as we paid 50 euro cleaning fee for a dog).

NetherlandsKeep in mind that you have to bring 250 EUR in cash for the deposit! There's also no soap or shower gel, or towels, so you need to bring everything yourself. The washing machine and the dryer are also in a bathroom that is only accessible from one of the bedrooms, so keep that in mind.
Beautiful, large house. The owner is quite friendly, the showers are nice and the rooms are cozy. There's a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine and a dryer.

Amazing location. Last minute booking, no refund, with a host that is not in the business. Place was not ready, I had to kill time, 1hr, so he could get it ready. Information during booking said everything included, but in fine printing, insanely confusing, extra charges and hidden fees for everything. Host was sleeping when I arrived and had to rush to get it “clean”. I am not mad but will never get back to this place. Host never had a clue I had that I booked, though he is registered with booking.com since 2016 and told me he do not like last minute bookings, complaining about them. A Mexican telenovela guys, avoid!
