This apartment is spacious, well equipped, clean and has a great outside patio. It's in a good location with free parking very close by. The owner is friendly, helpful and attentive. We've stayed in many properties in Ypres and all have been good, (bar one which is no longer available). This apartment probably represents the best overall of our stays when taking everything into consideration.

We can’t fault it in any way

The accommodation was one of the best we have stayed in- very clean and comfortable and decorated to a high standard. Everything we needed had been thought of, and the beer in the fridge on arrival was very much appreciated! The location was perfect- just a short stroll to the main square. The bikes were an added bonus!

Just need to plan ahead as can't park directly outside. Smaller bags are better as need to be able to lift them up the narrow stairs.

Wonderful friendly hosts, awesome apartment. Use of bikes a bonus, as this is a walled town, it is nice to be able to use these to get around. Great neighbourhood. Love the cobbled streets. The apartment is very stylishly appointed.

Amazing property that we would love to return to. Spacious accommodation that had easily enough room for our family of 5. Having bikes to explore was a bonus. The property was in a great location, and we walked into the centre of ypres several times.

Great hosts, everything for our stay was taken care of. The Gîte is lovely, we were a group of four adults and found the space very comfortable. Beautiful sun terrace, well equipped kitchen, a good nights sleep - couldn’t ask for more. Perfect location!

There wasn’t any negatives about the property really. If I was being really picky then the staircases after long days of sightseeing did take a toll on the legs, but the style of house means steep staircases and we knew this from the pictures. There literally wasn’t any negatives.

Apartment had everything you could possibly need. Felt like a home from home. So clean and welcoming. Great location, less than 10 minute walk to centre of Ypres. Very quiet neighbourhood.

Gite de Lombard is a beautiful house with so much attention to detail. It is so well equipped and a brilliant location with parking. We love it here and Sven is an amazing host.

Nothing, all was good.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need. It felt really really homely and we enjoyed sitting out on the roof terrace making the most of the warm weather. The location is great being a short walk to the centre and the Menin Gate, there is parking on the road outside or in a car park a short distance away. Sven the host met us on arrival and was really friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if we go back to Ypres.

Nothing to dislike.

The apartment was modern, bright, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. It is in a fantastic location for the centre of Ypres and surrounding areas. Free parking is a two minute walk away. There was good communication with the owner who is extremely helpful with advice to make your trip as memorable as possible. We would definitely return.

Nothing to complain about at all - from start to finish, everything we needed was catered for. From the smallest item in the kitchen to a car parking permit and umbrellas for when it rained - it was all covered and taken care of. One small piece of advice would be to get better pictures on the websites - the pictures on there do not do the place justice - it is nicer & comfier & larger & better equipped than the pictures convey.

Sven provided his mobile number and we agreed a set time to meet. He handed over the keys, took us upstairs and showed us around, answered our questions and gave us some local knowledge regarding car parking and restaurants.. He couldn't have been more helpful & friendly! 10/10
