room 2 was spacious and the outside bathroom even more. Parking for the bikes in the backside garden. Little goodies very much appreciated. Very good value for money at time of booking.

The garden needs some attention and does not match with the nice standard of room no. 2 and the bathroom

It was a simple room but all the facilities were there. I appreciated free tea and coffee. Overall good place to stay for a short visit. Easy description for how to get in.

The windows were difficult to open and I could not get the TV channels working.

I really was pleasantly surprised how clean the rooms were very modern and for one a proper smart TV I honestly loved the place if I had to be picky I would say the street carparking is difficult as there isn't many places but for me 10/10 and we will be back next year

Great location. No key necessary because you can access the room with a code which is great because you don't have to worry about losing it. Airconditioning available as well as blackout curtains that actually block out most of the sunlight. Overall a great accommodation.

The only downside is that it is less accessible for people who are less mobile since there are only narrow stairs and no elevator, but that's honestly just a minor issue.

I didn’t pay for breakfast - no breakfast included in the arrangement- there was a fridge in my room which was great. The host was so helpful ref printing of train tickets and carrying my luggage down the stairs. Thank you. Great location for the train station

Easy to get in, large room and clean external bathroom. Snack and drinks provided were appreciated.

Great location, rooms are clean.

The lodge has a charming setting, but just a heads-up— two rooms are on the third floor with narrow, steep stairs, which might be challenging for some. Also, sound carries easily, so check-in and check-out times can get a bit noisy.

Clean, comfortable, quite well equiped.. Extra pillows and a second mirror would make it even better.

The studio was great, clean and comfortable enough for 3 people. The owner greeted us and gave us a free upgrade which was great!

Location within walking distance to city centre. Room was clean and comfortable.

I had a shower instead of a bath and there is no lift to the upper floors. The stairway is quite narrow.

The location is great, very close to the train station, bus stops and shops. There is no Reception but immediate response from staff via text messaging. The room was clean. Keypad access so no need to worry about keys.

The room was small, no desk lamp, awkward power socket placement, only 1 bed light worked. Only 1 small pillow provided but staff brought more the next day when I asked. Bad fitting door, you hear everything in the common area and others can hear you. Windows don't seal, you hear everything from the street too including people and birds. Take ear plugs! You can't control room temp, you have to ask staff to adjust it.

Very clean place with great location in Mechelen. Around 5 min walking from the center and 5 minutes to the nearby river walk.
