We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesExcellent location in a very pleasant and safe part of town. Manager was very welcoming and friendly and served us an excellent continental breakfast every morning at the times we chose. Lovely garden area. Host was very accommodating with our two date changes. Terrycloth bathrobes were provided. It would be helpful for some travelers to know that the bedrooms are up either two or four easy flights of steps.

NetherlandsThe stairs to reach the house and the top floor are a bit steep and narrow. Not a problem for us, but might be for some less abled people. There was a curtain (not a door) dividing the bed area and bathroom in our room which is unfortunate. Biggest problem we had was unfortunately a strong sewer smell in the room, this is likely because the rooms are in the rop floor / under the roof of the house, and there is probably a vent somewhere in the roof, as is common. We had to sleep with the window open due to this. But perhaps we were unlucky and this is an incident or due to the way the wind was blowing, not sure.
The bed is superb, the breakfast is extensive and the couple that owns the house is very friendly, just as the people working for them. There is free parking right in the street in front of the place, there is a small shop right around the corner and public transport also stops a stone's throw from the front door. The rooms (two in total) are on the top floor of the residential house so there is lots of peace & quiet, and the neighborhood is very green and relaxing, offered us a new perspective on Brussels. There are good places to eat a short walk away too.

HungaryVery nice and friendly owner. She said her English is poor, but we had no problem with communication, she seems to be a very cheerful and nice person. The room was better than we expected, cute and cosy interior. The neighborhood is very secure and well maintained, bus stop was very close.

Germany- one should know that the house is private house and you will get one guest room! - It is really not close to the city (but one should be aware when the booking is done :-) - WiFi is good, but if you sit outside on the terrace- bad/ no service (which is logical)
- Nice comfortable house with quiet surroundings - Every morning you would be served with fresh with multiple choice breakfast (if you book it, of course) - Room was clean with enough space for a couple - Free parking spot in front of the house (otherwise it is difficult in Belgium!)
