Brighter light on stairs for wobbly husband

Huge luxurious bedroom and bathroom, microwave & kettle etc for meals/drinks. Useful info from owner about eating out and local shopping. Free parking opposite ( with blue badge) a real bonus as parking generally expensive & hard to find space. Really recommend, thank you Patricia

Very friendly & helpful on arrival. Extremely clean, superior double was a really good size, brilliant bathroom. Within very easy walking distance of the bars & restaurants of Bruges. Very convenient car park round the corner, plenty of spaces available.

The wording in the property description implied kitchen facilities. This property is a very lovely hotel, with a coffee machine and small refrigerator. This is not an apartment, it is a lovely large room in the old town. However, because of our long stay the owners brought in a microwave and toaster, which helped considerably.

The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful.

Nothing - everything was great! The stairs are a bit tricky to the rooms, but Patricia carried our bags for us.

What a lovely stay we had here! Patricia went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! The location is perfect for seeing the sights of Bruges and the house is lovely. The location is quiet, yet not a far walk from Market Square. Patricia was very responsive and when we had trouble getting a taxi or Uber to leave, she took us to the train station herself! She was a lifesaver!

Many thanks to Patricia and her husband for their kind and friendly hospitality. The hotel was spotless, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located—everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, and the bus stop was close by too. The nearby park was a lovely bonus for peaceful morning walks. Thank you for everything!

The only complaint is that there is no air conditioning so if you go during the Summer, it maybe quite warm at night.

The location and owns were excellent 👌! Everything is walking distance from the Guesthouse 1640. It is very central and in a safe area. Half a block there is a restaurant and a grocery store. Around the corner there are a few restaurants as well. City center is about 3 blocks away. Easy to get to most shops and historical places. There is a park about half a block from the Guesthouse too.

The location is perfect, within 5 minutes walk of old town but in quiet street with no traffic or noise at night. Restaurants close-by. The owner, Patricia, was available all time. She gave us extra coffee/tee/milk everyday and chocolates when we left! This is a big room and bathroom with everything you need! I can highly recommend this guesthouse!

This an amazing little house. It is located above a Hair salon so you won’t find it in Google. It has only two -big- rooms, but they are available it is gem. Perfectly located near Bruges center, but also away from the busy main streets. The hosts are more than helpful and friendly.

Fabulous location and a wonderful room in a lovely characterful building that is far more enjoyable than your standard hotel. Room was a great size with very modern bathroom and sitting area plus table and chairs.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Location was exceptional! Right next to all attractions, cafes, bars, shopping streets! The room we stayed in was fantastic, super clean and the bed... WOW! The owner of the guesthouse is such a lovely and patient person, he waited for us to check-in with some... delay, late at night.

Were locked out twice due to faulty door lock but persistence got us in after 30 mins. Rang for assistance but call went to answer phone. No signage on exterior to indicate accommodation. Locked front door and no buzzer were bad omens for checking in. Likewise, nobody around when we checked out at 10.30am. .Summer not a good time to stay due to lack of fan/aircon.(Temp 30C+)

Beautiful decor. Very comfortable bed and room. Handy to attractions and cafes.
