It is not far from the motorway but so tranquil you’d never know. There are great walks just from the hotel . There is a most fabulous restaurant with exquisite food.

Breakfast was nice, yet not ideal for vegans and they might struggle to provide gluten free options.

The associated restaurant did not provide fairly for vegans and vegetarians, charging the plate of vegetables the same as the fish dish, even though we stated the dietary needs well in advance.

Position by a lake. Very modern and smart . Excellent shower and other facilities . Well presented breakfast. Good room size .

Food expensive , the dinner menu was ok but a bit pretentious. There was a lack of communication between the reception and the restaurant- we were given a dinner time slot but were criticised for turning up at the given time by a bossy and rude woman member of staff..

Beautiful hotel, lovely location. Staff friendly. Room spacious and clean.

Having travelled from Switzerland, was disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open.

The hotel was remote, easy to access, gorgeous room and lovely staff.

Torrential rain in the morning. Not hotels fault!

Modern comfort rooms mixed with traditional features. Friendly efficient service with delicious food in the restaurant. Comfortable beds and a very good breakfast.

We were sat by an open window in the restaurant and there was an unpleasant odour wafting in from the river. It spoilt our dining experience.

Beautiful, very tranquil location in the very south east corner of Belgium. We checked in very late, got a front door code through the Booking app and found our room key ready for us at reception. The room and bathroom were highly comfortable and clean, with complimentary tea and coffee in the room. Our car charged overnight, 25m from the front door, and was ready for us in the morning. All in all a wonderful place, highly recommended. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that aspect.

    Nothing.

The hotel sits in a quiet beautiful setting, well away from the main road and has an excellent restaurant

Slightly basic room which was clean and comfortable. Nothing much else.

The hotel is situated in a small hamlet at the end of the road. There are many lovely walks through the forest and along the waterways. The hotel staff are most accommodating and I was able to sit in the sitting room and work online even though I arrived well before check in. The beds are very comfortable and there is everything you need for your stay.

Lovely setting next to the lake and friendly staff

There is no where for guests to sit and relax indoors during the evening if the weather is bad Unfortunately there were some building works which we were not told about prior

    Everything was simply amazing

I am not a big fan of allowing animals to stay in the rooms in hotels.

Location was great, in a very quiet area, near the forest. Check in was quick and easy. Shower had hot water and the bed was really comfortable. I did not have breakfast but ate at the restaurant nearby, and the food was excellent. A word of caution though: if you do not come by car, there are no transportation methods so you have to walk from the hotel for 20 minutes to get to town, or to the nearest bus station. This was not an issue for me because I walk a lot daily and as a bonus the weather was sunny

The dinner was excellent and the restaurant full each time we have stopped here. The quiet gardens, river and lake in the sheltered valley are really attractive.

The standard double rooms under the garrettes feel cramped. It is necessary to book the more expensive superior garden rooms for a good room. The breakfast in the hotel was stylish but offered little for the price

Apart from the dog in room issue, we liked almost everything . The restaurant was a little more expensive than anticipated when a bottle of wine was added. However, it had a good ambiance. The restaurant is separate from the hotel and you pay separately.

An extra 30 euros for a dog in our room PLUS another circa 40 euros to uprade our room. Dogs are not allowed in standard rooms. We only found this out after booking, so we left our dog in the car, and everything was fine!

Beautiful, quiet and unspoilt location. Hotel is superbly designed and fitted out with quality and style. Everything worked well, quiet room and large comfy bed. Restaurant was closed on the night we stayed but breakfast was sumptuous with fresh local produce.

    Nothing!

    Idyllically located. Surprising food.

We ordered the summer menu including 1/2 bottle of wine per person. We received 1 bottle (not my taste) for 3 people and this was charged separately. Slow service. 3,5 hours on uncomfortable chairs.
