We sent a message to ask for a ground floor room but the staff never replied. When we arrived the receptionist just told us "I saw your message but you booked the last room and it is in the attic" . So, the message was read but no answer was given. My husband has a bad knee and he had to go up with the suitcases. The stairs are metal see-through, not the best for my fear of heights and a hoover was abandoned in the corridor making it a trip hazard. The shower head was broken, so it was a bit of a pain taking a shower with it. We reported it on a booking.com message when we left as there was no receptionist to talk with on check-out. Again, no answer. I hope the next Guest had it fixed. Not the best service for such an expensive hotel.

It's located in a quiet area. The bed was comfy and the capsule coffee machine in the room was nice to have. Free shower gel and conditioner, very nice smell. It has a small parking lot at the back.

What a find! Beautiful old building and stunning courtyard with water feature ….rooms are decorated in a very clean and minimalist way, the bathroom was huge and staff wonderful!

Room OK . Could do with air extraction from shower. A bit dusty under the cupboards. Friendly staff and excellent evening meal and breakfast. Breakfast very pleasant with helpful staff.

Customer service is really bad! We tried to have them on the phone multiple times for an emergency, no answer. No one at the reception neither. When we finally had someone on the phone they gave us the wrong information. The next day we had someone else on the phone, and he couldn't help us. I really don't understand how a hotel is supposed to work like this? Never again.

the room standard wasn't great, the yellow cushions on the bed were stained, the shower was really slippery once wet and the bed wasn't comfortable at all, I've paid for a double room but what I've got was 2 single beds put together, the issue was that they weren't attached so at night, every time I moved and was in the middle of it, they would split and I had to get up and push them back together, not really good for what has been defined by the manager as a nice and classy hotel.

the location is fantastic and the hotel itself looks really good. the restaurant is also really good and the food is to die for.

Difficult to find any staff, the hotel seemed to be ran by one person.

Onsite restaurant gets fully booked on a Saturday. Other (good) restaurant 20min walk away. Some upper rooms via stairs - no lifts. Some rooms have only a tiny window. Hotel is trying to be "automatic" - e.g. check out is via internet - so often not many people around. Can be a tad frustrating.

Clean hotel with onsite parking and wifi. Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Our kid got bitten by some insect on the sofa-bed and had marks the moment he woke up (and nothing till he slept so had to have been the sofa bed). When we informed the host, the response was “he could have been bitten anywhere”. Not even a response oh okay lets check and make sure its cleaned again.

Amazing Location. Easy to find. Great value for money. The studio room was spacious. Kitchen was decently equipped and was in working condition.

Breakfast was not worth the money. There was just nothing to choose from. We asked for two eggs but only got one. Tiny cups, tiny glasses, everything screamed WE ARE TOO TIGHT
