Value for money is excellent. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom needed a bit of a freshen up but nothing major. Breakfast was good, pastry, cereal, cheese, egg, bacon, fruit. Best thing is the location, only 30 seconds from Cloth Hall, near to bars, restaurants and a few minutes to the Menin gate. Not a hotel for relaxing as there isn't a lounge or bar but its not a problem with the location being so good.

I was a little disappointed that the rooms were not to their usual standard. We had a cracked mirror and window in our room and the shower curtain had some mildew on it. The decor was also a little tired.

I have visited this property many times over the last 10 years. I love the friendly staff and excellent location, also very good value for money and varied choices for breakfast.

The WiFi was non existent in our room in the second building.

Very friendly people. There is a safe bicycle storage room next door from the reception. Very clean room and bathroom. Vere comfortable firm beds. Great breakfast. The hotel is located very close to the main square.

Colour scheme a bit dark for us but it didn’t detract from the presentation of the hotel.

Lovely and clean with good facilities, especially for a”budget” room. Breakfast was great and plenty available. Location was perfect overlooking the main square. The owners were great and helpful from the moment we booked in 2024. Absolutely a fantastic place to stay in Ypres.

We had a pile of sheets outside our room. Not a big problem and didn't spoil our stay in the slightest but shouldn't really be left lying around.

Fabulous location, right in the centre of Ypres. Check in smooth and friendly. Parking easy [not on site). Hotel is simple but, clean and practical. Breakfast was again simple but very good 👍

We love this hotel but the layout is quirky as the building is old and the decor is a little dated but it's also cheaper than other hotels.

The woman who runs the hotel is always lovely & helpful. The location is central and you can park close to the hotel and seems safe. It's dog friendly. Breakfast is superb. Hot and cold options and the best scrambled eggs.

The room was tiny, no air conditioning and there was a summer fun fair directly below us that went till 11pm each night. You had to wait till it stopped before opening the window to get some air. The bed was like a rock and one small pillow

Location was great, easy to get to from train station and a few minutes away from the Menin Gate. Breakfast was good also
