The direct neighborhood was extremely smelly and loud. Hard to sleep with heat and windows closed. The inside of the property was not smelly. My teenage daughter and I did not feel safe in the direct surroundings. It is a shame because the accommodation is really nice.

This is an economic room right in the center of Brussels. Nothing fancy, not a big room, which is exactly what we expected. It is located in an alley that is not noisy, despite being in a central location. It is great for a couple of nights. The check-in/check-out processes, as well as the option to leave luggage there, are great highlights of the stay.

We had patchy email access leading up to the booking so it made it harder to get access but things were easily sorted with a couple of back up phone no.s to use.

Insulation of room door: suggest to put insulation strips for a tight close and noise.

Older building refurbished into private rooms. Very nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable beds. WiFi was somewhat weak (room 2) but fast (100 Mbps). I am often in Brussels for work and will definitively put this place on my "preferred options" list for the future.

You could hear a lot from the hallway and room above when they moved chairs.

locations is great, bars and restaurants around. very central and walking distance from Central Station. The room was small, but ok for 1 night. It was very clean. The room gets quite hot in summer but there is a fan. Check-in was easy.

No 2 room of the first floor is quite small for 2 people. Anyway not a big deal as we were all day out in the city. A bad smell at the entrance(only there) of the building that comes from the drain. But everything was ok at the room.

It was the second time staying there. It's always my first option when I'm travelling to Brussels. Perfect location, nice rooms. I stayed to both of rooms of the first floor. No.1 room is more comfortable for 2 people as it is bigger than no.2. Good value for money and very helpful instructions for check in and check out. Highly recommended. I will stay there again on my next visit.

The stairs might be an issue for older people but was fine for us.

Excellent location super close to Beurs and Old Town with Grande Place although the alley was a little sketchy and apparently frequently used as a toilet by night.

Only that it was quite noisy. You could hear much noise from other rooms, such as people talking, coughing, sneezing and dropping things. It was also very noisy when people walked on the stairs. Luckily there were no guests partying when we were there.

The room was very spacious and the bed reasonably comfortable. The shower was good. The shared kitchen on the ground floor was a real bonus (we Brits like our tea in the morning!) The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Location very good, just a few minutes walk from the main square, on a quiet street. Check in/out was very easy, keys left in keybox. It's not luxurious but you get what you pay for.

The shower did not have a hanger so it was uncomfortable to take a shower and the bathroom was very dark. Unfortunately the neighbours were disrespectful and talked too loudly on the stairs and you could hear everything. The location is the best thing to highlight, it's excellent! The only thing I didn't like was that the cleaning staff entered the room without warning when I wasn’t in the room, which made me distrustful.

There was no hot water in the shower. Since this is a complaint I have seen in multiple reviews, I'm worried that this might be a deliberate choice by the hosts. I had a short stay, so this was a problem I could work around. However, for a longer stay, I imagine this would be a major letdown. Also, the TV didn’t work.

The location is good, really close to the Grand Place. The room had heating, the beds were comfortable, and it was clean. It also had a small kitchen with cooking and cleaning supplies

An extra light on the table would have been nice, or a fake candle, it was a bit dark in that corner now.

Beautiful room right in the city center. We only stayed one night but would have been comfortable to stay longer. There is a kitchen downstairs to make tea and coffee, which was nice.

The room was very very cold, extra heating would’ve been better. The shower sewer smelled bad which made the bathroom stink.

The room was almost too warm and the shower was a bit broken meaning the shower head would spin making it difficult to shower. The room was also up 2 narrow, spiral flights of stairs with no lift. A lovely staff member took a bag up for us when we arrived but it was a challenge to take them down when we were leaving.

Excellent location, and had everything you would need. Room was warm inside which was nice during the winter months.

Low water pressure in the tap and shower. The mattress was a bit soft for my taste and the bedding had holes in it.
