    Beautiful surroundings, very spacious.

Would have been nice if there was at least some paper towels, a sponge, kitchen towel, bath towels. You can't expect us to bring all of this for a 3 night stay when we just flew in from another country. Overall, I would recommend but must bring bath towels, kitchen towels, sponge, etc. Also, we didn't receive any direction in how to get keys - ultimately, door was just open an keys were on table inside. Would have been nice to have more direct contact with host.

The location is great, out of town but walking distance. Though is up a big hill so be prepared for a hike up! Supermarket close by. Sizeable garden. Comfy beds, and beautiful views from your window. There's a folder which had some walks printed out which was nice. Walks are accessable from the door. Would recommend the Cockerell walk.. Beautiful. Kitchen has a few basic things for cooking with and a nice big fridge. Sauna is a nice addition, and 2 bathrooms is also handy.

Nobody was there to meet us when we arrived, no key left and no direct contact number. Ended up having to go to a neighbour to ask for help (I speak little French, she spoke no English) and she said that it had happened before. Added about an hour onto our 10 hour journey to get there. In the folder that's left for you, it mostly just says about walks. Which is great, but theres no info about what bins to use, what time you need to check out etc. The check out info is on your original booking. Would be nice to have a message the day before, from owner or booking.com or belvilla to tell us what to do to check out. The garden is lovely and big. It isn't secure, if you are bringing a dog that needs an enclosed garden. Also it connects to the owners garden, who has a dog. So again, if your dog isn't great with other dogs in their space, then it could be an issue. Just would be worth knowing all this beforehand! Their dog is very sweet and friendly btw. There's a few things that could have been included which would have made our stay better. Towels, a Teatowel, a bin bag, coffee filters, washing up liquid, and more than 2 loo rolls. Just a few basic necessities. Little things like this, would have made our stay a little better. Lastly, the blinds in one of the bedrooms are an absolute nightmare to use if you want the windows open. It was very hot weather during our stay.. I slept with the windows open at night. I had a battle with them daily and they let loads of light into the room.
