Since we had never been to the Belgian Ardennes before, this location immediately caught our attention thanks to the spacious apartment and excellent outdoor amenities, including a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Paddock Lodge is ideally situated—an ideal spot for professional cyclists, surrounded by scenic hills with stunning views. The apartment itself is very comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished, and it includes a well-equipped kitchen. The hosts are very nice and kind people!

A perfect setting for a couple to get away for a weekend. The lodge itself is very well appointed, comfortable and a lovely mix of old style with modern comfort. The jacuzzi area and gazebos very pleasant. Lovely breakfast. And finally, Benjamin our host was very accommodating and friendly.

Everything was just wonderful

We had a wonderful weekend at Paddock Lodge in the Ardennes. The lodge is beautifully located in a tranquil, green area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable, with a private sauna that was a real treat. We loved the lovely pool and the delicious breakfast delivered in a charming picnic basket each morning. The owners were incredibly hospitable, helping with EV charging and recommending local restaurants. Paddock Lodge is the ideal spot for a relaxing and luxurious escape. Highly recommended!

Nothing, it's so perfect.

The calm, the rural location, but near accessible cities, the outstanding welcome, the exceptional services including in-room infrared sauna, the beautiful rooms with whirlpool jets and black out automatic blinds, the A/C on that hot weekend, the 10pm jacuzzi session outside under the stars, the swimming pool, the best hosts. The amazingly comfortable bed, the minibar, the coffee and tea making facilities,. It was better than 75% of hotels and far cleaner and better finished.

I had to think a lot to find something to improve. One aspect could be the check in time. We were allowed to check in at 3pm anyway, although the official time is 4pm. I would say 4 is a bit late compared to the std., so making it 3 by default would be perhaps better. Another tiny detail is that the towels had a little bit of smell (that smell when they don’t dry out well), and comes up again when they are wet (I have that problem at some my self). But this is really a small thing.

It was all thought to he very last detail in good quality: from the courtesy tea and coffee (premium local blends, nespresso capsules in abundance), the tea candle lights, the towels. The place is very nicely set, everything in great quality and taste. Although the weather did not let us enjoy everything there is (it was cold and raining, so we could not use the pool), it was anyway ready and available if we wanted.

We stayed in the ‘Coo’ room. It was very comfortable and clean, but there was no light in the shower. With black tiles, this made it very dark there.

Everything was beyond expectations. We were spoiled with free breakfast and a small bottle of crémant for not being able to use the outside jacuzzi (unforeseen technical issue).

The place is fantastic for a relaxing weekend: sauna, bath tub style jacuzzi, silence. Weather was great, so we could enjoy a picnic apéro near the river. Perfect place to disconnect from today’s reality and connect with yourself and your loved one.

The suite has everything you wish for and even more. It is super comfortable, so it’s very easy to relax. The hosts have taken care of even the smallest details. We were really impressed and enjoyed it very much.

There was a slight miscommunication with the owners about whether or not we would be having the breakfast the accommodation offers, but this was handled very well so a very minor thing. Everything was great overall, we can definitely recommend this place!

This cottage has the advantage of being both cosy and luxurious, and we really enjoyed our stay. The owners, Corinne and Benjamin, are very friendly and helpful, and provided clear and easy to follow instructions for check-in and check-out. The area is beautiful and peaceful, a welcome escape from city life for a while, and the facilities are all excellent at the accommodation.

Nestled amidst lush greenery and boasting a serene atmosphere, Padlock Lodge truly feels like a hidden gem. The natural surroundings and well-maintained gardens, swimming pool and jacuzzi provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed week-end away from the city. It was a true haven of peace and calm. Our suite was super clean and beautifully decorated. The sauna in the room was great and the bed was very comfortable. We loved it and we look forward to our next stay at Paddock Lodge!
