How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We like everything. It would be even better if there is also basin in the toilet. But that’s just a minor thing for us. The apartment is beautiful. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good! The food at the restaurant was great and can be delivered to your room. We will come back again next time! 😊

Everything.. The room was really spacious and everything we needed had been thought of by the owners. Great breakfast and very friendly helpful staff. The owner Tom kept us updated with everything we needed to know.about our stay.

I never received the email with my access code to enter tge hotel. Luckily staff person (restaurant server) was entering a bit after we arrived. There was no way to enter otherwise.

No coathangers in closet. No glasses to drink water although there was nice coffee cups.
Tom and staff are excellent, professional, helpful, friendly.. Breakfast was local food and very tasty. They made us anvery good espresso which was so appreciated. No crap coffee here. Comfortable mattress and beautiful space in room with a lot of light. Nicely furnished.

On motorcycles and the car park exit ramp was challenging to say the least. Ok in a car. But would not let that prevent us from stopping there again!
Hotel very good. Brand new. Large room. Pod coffee machine and teas in room. Good shower. Bath robes. Attention to detail first class. Thick towels with lovely scent. The hotel restaurant opened at 7.00 and we wanted to eat earlier so we took a short walk into town. Many restaurants there to choose from. We returned around 8.30 and the hotel restaurant was quite full but it was a Friday night, so suggest booking in advance. Breakfast. All products sourced locally. Ham, cheeses, jams yoghurt etc. Sausages and meats from local charcuterie. Attention to detail second to non. Excellent! Very good selection of gluten free bread and rolls. Tom is the perfect host!

Lovely and cozy property! Great view and short stroll to the centre. Breakfast was superb! We are a family of four with small kids, and perhaps not the easiest guests to have. But the host responded to our every need, quick and friendly. Such a lovely place, where we really felt welcome! Our family room had a small kitchen, where we even could cook dinner. Chocholate and coffie complemented the stay, which was a really nice guesture. If we ever were to return, we would definitelt stay here again!

Small beautiful boutique hotel, ideally located for exploring the Ardennes. In the small town of Marche. The hotel owner was very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Lots of local produce and wafels made by his mum.

The floors are timber and you could hear people waling around upstairs
Breakfast was very good and the staff went out of their way to help and provide what we needed. Check in is all done beforehand and you are given a code to access the room. There is ample parking but access can be a bit tight, though it was easy for the motorbike. Showers were powerfull.

Very easy to find, near the centre. Lovely spacious room with very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. And there was somewhere to store our bikes. Would definitely stay again.

What is there not to like about a hotel that is in excellent condition. The room nice, spacious and clean. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I am not looking for over the top things and especially where it concerns breakfast when there is just too much and food gets wasted. No, it was enough, fresh, local where possible and ready when we were ready. For me this hotel was perfect and for sure we will return!

Entrance of the parking a bit narrow but spacious one
Super good renovation of an old house in the city centre. Only few rooms but very well refurbished and spacious. Very friendly host and would recommend definitely this place for a stay in Marche en Famenne
