Everything was very clean. The staff was so polite and very flexible. The interior was very beautiful with paintings. Breakfast was just as you expect and delicious.

Unfortunately dinner and breakfast wasn’t available during our stay. This wasn’t pointed out when booking. The restaurant was closed for dinner but we had expected a breakfast, even a continental one. The owner was very good at messaging me when I raised this was a concern for us, but we decided to stay anyway a local boulangerie was just around the corner where we grabbed some croissants for our onward journey back to the UK . But do check this if you are going to stay ‘out of season’. The bedroom is delightful with an en-suite bathroom. We would like to stay again and hopefully can use all the potential facilities next time. There is also a sauna and an outside pool(for summer use.

The house is very nicely presented in neutral colours and very tasteful furnishings. The location is very central in the town but on a quiet square with free parking. There are numerous excellent restaurants within a two minute walk.

We are a couple, who stayed three days and were really impressed with the dedication and politeness of the staff. Very kind host! Breakfast was excellent, diverse and fresh, it would be nice to have a bit more wholewheat options. The room was very comfortable, clean and well lit. The pool is well maintained, there is also a nice garden green space to relax. There is also sauna which we did not manage to try out because it was very hot outside. Overall, if you are looking for a calm and relaxing environment, we would highly recommend it.

Beautifully renovated house, with a very stylish interior right in the center of Rochefort. Eleanore is an exceptional host and, although we’re vegan and we know that can be hard, served us delicious dinners. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic as well, with avocado, choices of bread, muesli and fruits. The garden with the pool is a great place for a drink before dinner. We stayed for 3 nights and truly enjoyed it, thanks Eleanore!

We had a great stay at Madame Crepin. The place is beautiful, staff very friendly and professional. Food is delicious. We enjoyed our weekend very much and would definitely return!

No downsides except for the price point but I understand the boutique aspect to the hotel.

The space is absolutely gorgeous. They were excellent with making sure I had everything I could possibly need. Amenities, staff friendliness, accessibility to the town, it was all great.

There was no staff present on arrival and no bar and restaurant service. Also no breakfast on Monday. The room is too hot, due to absence of air conditioning. I prefer a door between bathroom and bedroom.

We were texted 24 hours before we were due to arrive to inform us that the hotel was shut the Sunday night we were visiting. There would be someone to let us in and give us a key. That's it. No service at all. So, no bar, no restaurant, no staff and no breakfast. If they had done this when we had booked I could have cancelled or changed the booking. But they left it until the day before and AFTER the cancellation period. Shameful customer care. So 150 Euros for a bed and a bathroom basically . So not recommended.

It's a nice place in a nice quiet location near the centre of Rochefort. The rooms are big and comfortable and well decorated and fitted. But that is all...

We were very disappointed with our stay particularly the Manager’s attitude when we highlighted that the duvet cover was damp. She was reluctant to rectify the problem indicating that the cover had been sprayed ! Hence, the dampness. We also had great difficulty in contacting her to sort that problem out despite her telling us that she was around for a while. My husband knocked on the door marked Private and got no response so he opened the door and called to the Manger from the bottom of the stairs he did not go up the stairs. Yet the Manager was angry and told us to only contact her via the telephone. We were quite shocked at her response. The room we booked was a Superior Room yet it was devoid of tissues, fridge, no water or glasses despite the room costing €190. The towels had a musty smell. There was also a live cable tied up (see photo). Very poor and we will not be returning to this establishment.
