There was nothing we didn't like.

The hotel is right in the centre of Brugge but fairly easy to navigate to as we arrived quite late and traffic was not too busy. I contacted the hotel twice on the way and they responded quickly via email, once to book the hotel parking and again to let them know our arrival time. In fact the reception was open until 9pm. On arrival the receptionist was exceptionally helpful, told us the best places to visit, gave us a map, made sure we had everything we needed. We booked on site parking which was across the street, safe and clean and easily accessible. The hotel is gorgeously decorated, very clean and modern but the ambience and features sympathetic to the beautiful, historic building and surroundings. The room itself was elegantly decorated, quiet, spotlessly clean and modern, usb charging points, great aircon, the bed spacious and comfortable, bathroom facilities perfect with luxurious toiletries and thoughtful touches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again and highly recommend it.

Location is very good close to the old town of bruges but just enough away from the crowds. Bed was big and comfortable and staff were friendly.

Our room had a large support beam in the middle of the room that you had to traverse to get from the bed to the bathroom.

Because of the excellent location, it was on a busy street so you heard cars and people, but only because you had to leave the windows open for air. There is no AC because it’s always cool outside. Also, no refrigerator or microwave. They have fans and kettles for hot water that they can loan you.

Clean, location right in town, walk to everything, even bus station for day trips, and the most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered! And the most beautiful, forest-like back patio! So relaxing!

Delicious breakfast, great variety of foods. The room was small but sooo beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel is right at the centre of the city - perfect location. The staff gave us advice on how to ignore the 'full' sign at the parking garage nearby - and they were right! There was still plenty of space. The breakfast room and the lobby / bar are beautiful and tastefully decorated.

Some minor things - our room had a sloped roof and that side of the bed was hard to access, the first morning at breakfast we had to put with an influencer using the breakfast room to post whatever she does, there is a nightclub or very late bar close by but didn't impact on our sleep.

Hotel is lovely and we have stayed there previously - we took a taxi from the train station (cost c 15 euros). Very central - less than 5 mins to main square - really nice wine bar just down the street (Blend) and a Trappist bar (with dozens of beer types) just across the road from the hotel, the Rembrant bar / restaurant on the way to the square is a good choice for a drink on the way back to the hotel. There's a water dispenser downstairs which was great to have in the heat. Excellent breakfast, including cooked dishes, with an outdoor seating area - the reception, bar, breakfast room are beautifully decorated

Water pressure in the room was very bad and AC was not up the mark.

When the one lift was not working and we considered using the stairs, we opened the doorway to emergency stairs that we knew do not reach the bottom. This need to receive urgent attention for the sake of everybody's safety. The slanted ceilings in the specific room that we occupied made the room feel a bit cramped. It was not only from one side, but from two sides. In the end we managed.

The marketing of the room indicated that it is sound proof. During our stay we experienced the value of that when there was partying close by to the early hours of the morning. The breakfast was excellent and beyond expectations. The location was close to all activities and sights.

All great - husband found the bed a bit too soft but that's minor and a question of taste, anyway.

Fabulous location - convenient for museums, sights and transport - so central. Marie and her colleague (didn't get her name) at front desk were so helpful - made great recommendations for places to eat, drink, visit. Delicious breakfast.
