Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomMy son was a bit scared of the rickety stairs. There was un unpleasant smell in the bathroom (from pipes - the bathroom was clean). It was odd to have toilet on the other side of apartment than bathroom.
The flat was conveniently just few minutes away from the Pairi Daiza zoo and above a supermarket which came very handy. We liked the large sitting/dining/kitchen room. The flat was quite hot after very sunny day but luckily the owners provided electric fans.

GermanyThe bed was extremely soft, and we are not used to sleeping on such a soft mattress.
Our baby enjoyed the extra space he had (the apartment is bigger than a hotel room). Excellent location - Carrefour supermarket is on the right side of the entrance. Overall, the apartment is very well equipped and a good choice to stay for families

United KingdomRickety spiral staircase was a bit hard with 2 kids and luggage
The location is perfect for visiting Pairi Daiza. Not even 10 mins drive and had parking outside. Above a supermarket so great for getting supplies. Comfy beds and all the things you need to cook and sleep.

GermanyNo air condition. There are a couple of fans, but not very strong. The stairs a bit shaky and creaky and it made me nervous with the kids.
Location is excellent. Minutes drive to the Pairi Daiza. Small supermarket, pizzeria, and bar downstairs. Parking is no issue. Apartment is spacious and has plenty of linens. The Nintendo Wii was a hit with the kids!

Belgium- it was really hot in the apartment when we got there. the fans will do not much - if anything - to bring relief. that makes for less than an ideal situation when all you want to do, is get your kids to bed after a very long day - lots of street noise
*Stephanie was quick to respond to any of our questions *as we were traveling with 2 young to very young children, we appreciated it that everything was clean when we got there * just 5-7mins away from Pairi Daiza, which was great as our kids were overly tired from spending a whole day at the zoo

United KingdomIt wasn’t clean, it was foul smelling, it was constantly noisy from 6am with banging. Basic items like towels and toilet rolls were not adequate for a 6 night stay with 3 people. Bedding was also full of holes and rips it’s shoddy. The stairs are a death trap, they shake as you use them and hard work getting luggage up and down them. When arrived there was smelly rubbish sat under the stairs from previous guests including soiled nappies, a nasty start to the stay.
It was big and spacious and parking was easy.

LuxembourgThe smell of the sewer throughout the apartment is very unpleasant as it was extremely strong and got worse trought out the night. We spoke to the cleaning lady, she was nice about it But again, as a place to rent, we needed to remove the duvet covers, all bedding, etc, clean everything before leaving! So.mugh pressure Not suggesting that we would leave the place dirty but again on top of the bad smell No sense of relaxation nor holiday feel to it. especially for the price we paid!
Nice apartment located under the carrefour express and easy to park. The cleaning lady was very nice

NetherlandsThe bed sheets were teared open, the coffee machine had Calc due to lack of cleaning/maintenance, the shower was also blocked due to Calc, but I fixed it by scrubbing the shower jets and a very strange smell was coming out from the bathroom (possibly due to sink sewage).

ItalyThe spiral staircase to reach the room is quite unstable, especially when climbing it with luggage. The room was equipped with ventilators which however did not work, hence it was very hot in there. Impossible to open the windows either as the noise coming from the street was unbearable all night long. No dining possibilities nearby.
Close to Pairi Daiza zoo which was the reason of my visit. Very clean room, well equipped. Easy to park for free in the square. Instructions received via email to pick up the key worked well.
