Regarding your comment about the linen and towels: as clearly stated on our listing, prior to booking, guests are required to bring their own bed linen, towels, and kitchen textiles. This is a common practice in holiday accommodations across Belgium. We understand that this might be different from what you're used to, but we do our best to ensure that all important information is communicated in advance to avoid surprises upon arrival. We understand your comments about the apartment size and the parking arrangement. The flat size is to some extent a matter of choice when you make your booking since we have two other types of flats which are larger in size. Parking in front of the flat is only allowed for loading and unloading as stipulated on our contract. We refer to the resort map as you'll notice that there are sufficient parking slots available to safely park your car at only a very small distance from your flat. Hello David, We thank you for the time you took in writing this review and appreciated very much that you mentioned that the vacation flat is located in a beautiful, spacious park with a playground, football pitch, and options for basketball, ping-pong, and tennis. You also mentioned that the location is definitely a plus, and it's relatively affordable for De Haan. We are sorry to hear that you felt that interior is outdated, and you were required to bring your own sheets. Our interior is in line with the style of the building as you can see from the pictures. Bringing your own bed sheets is a basic principle in Belgium for apartment rental and this is clearly mentioned in the description. Please let me add that the Television did not had a problem with the video card. We ask you to make a reset of the decoder (from Telenet) and subsequently the problem was solved. The neighbours were guests of another owner and we asked these construction workers to stop playing loud music and to follow the regulations of the resort. In other words we reacted as requested. Thanks again for sharing your experience with us. It helps both future guests and us to make the necessary adjustments. We hope we can meet again such that we can demonstrate to you we took notice of your recommendations. Best Regards,

As we take your feedback seriously, we can already inform you that an improvement is available for these guests, prepared to use the possibility Booking.com offers, by allowing guests to introduce their likely arrival hour at the moment of their booking. If we do not know when you are likely to arrive it is possible we are not available for a short moment at the time of your arrival. We doubt however you had to wait for 1 hour. Another option is you request your entrance code with your Booking.com reference and you access to your flat without any delay. This option is used by most guests. In relation to your comment on blankets and towels, we refer to the text on the site of Booking.com as well as our reminder sent to you as part of our welcome mail stating we are using an appartement formula, where towels and blankets are not provided, as most guests bring these from home anyhow. We hope this clarification helps in responding to your remarks. We hope we can meet once more and thanks again for bringing this to our attention and allowing us to post this clarification.
