Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsActually, nothing to complain about. But keep in mind that the rooms are a bit small, but if you are here for outdoor activities only, then it should not be a problem at all. More important, the room, toilet and shower were very clean! 👍
Good location to stay here, near to routes if you want to do hiking. Very friendly people Frank & Mary who are the hosts of this B&B. Small menu card, but good dinners and meals they serve with royal portions ('steak de porc' is yummy, a recommendation). Enough variances menu card wise, in case you are vegetarian. Extra service during breakfast in the morning with eggs, warm croissants, fresh juice. B&B - Restaurant Porte de la Lienne I would recommend and we'll come back again here in the future if we have to find a location in the Ardennes area.

GermanyWe were just for one night there, so I couldn't say anything that I didn't like.
Very stylish place, very quiet and perfect for relaxing time. We were there only for one night, but we definitely recommend it. The food was amazing. Even my kids enjoyed dinner (and they are not easy to feed;))

NetherlandsThis place got much atmosphere, very cosy. Location is really good for trips further into the Ardennes. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Intriguingly, damage due to fighting in and around the building during the Battle of the Bulge is still visible both outside and inside.

NetherlandsBeautiful old building, stepping into another age. Everything is decorated in the style - the foyer, the restaurant, and the room. It is a smallish room but very cozy and with everything you might need. The restaurant is comfortable and delicious (just don't forget to make a reservation). The hosts were approachable and attentive. Very nice experience overall!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was welcoming and very comfortable. The location is in a beautiful quiet setting. Good parking. The menu had plenty to choose from and the staff catered for even the fussiest eaters. Everything was well presented and very tasty.

IrelandThe breakfast was very tasty with plenty of meats, cheese, eggs a selection of breads, croissants jams, juice and yogurts. Mary was very attentive and Frank cooked a really nice moist and flavoursome piece of pork on one of our evening meals. We enjoyed chatting at the bar.It is close to the railway but it didn't stop us from sleeping. There is private parking and a shed for storing our bikes which was great as it rained quite a lot during our stay . The rain didn't damper our experience there. , .

NetherlandsThis hotel is located right next to a railroad. Trains are passing by about once an hour starting early in the morning and ending quite late at night, which was disturbing our sleep.
We stayed at this hotel with my partner for 1 night in July 2025. The whole place was cozy, and our room had everything we needed. Dinner at the restaurant was very nice, as well as breakfast in the morning.
