Locality of the flat was terrible, really dirty and noisy

The distance from the apartment to different places in the city is very convenient. For example, getting to Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Museum, Gare de Midi, Gare du Nord, the Royal Palace and local restaurants and etc was very easy for us. The location of the apartment is really good.

The street wasn’t good. There was trash everywhere. The street stunk. There were many homeless people drinking and smoking on the street, including smoking weed. The apartment is between a restaurant/bar and a church meaning on several days during our stay we couldn’t sleep well as it was very loud and annoying! The curtains do not provide maximum privacy. The bedsheets contained some stains of previous people, who used them, and some of them were even ripped. However, this was reported and the domestic staff was very helpful on resolving this issue. Another issue is the WiFi, it really needs an improvement. It doesn’t work in the two bedrooms. It only works in the sitting room and kitchen area. But the speed is very weak!

- the key access box did not work on arrival, meaning we had no access to the property. Luckily there were workmen in for another repair however we got no reply from staff about this for over an hour and tried multiple means of communication but none worked. -multiple damages, stains and marks on pretty much everything ( ripped sheets, holes in walls, stains on sofa and sofa bed sheet which made it unusable as it clearly was not in a clean state, toilet handle was hanging off). - only 1 roll of toilet paper which I think for a 3 night stay for a group of 4 is pretty unrealistic and under prepared. - the local area is pretty rough, we didn’t mind this but it is about a 20 minute walk into the centre. - definitely would not come here as a solo female traveller (if this is you stay in the centre). The apartment’s cleanliness levels are not great and it’s not in a very good state of repair, however if the staff had been responsive or helpful I wouldn’t have minded this at all. Unfortunately this was not the case so overall would not recommend this as a place to stay!

It was not clean at all.

The apartment was not clean, the floor was very dirty, and there was a persistent smell of smoke that was not cigarette smoke.

We entered the property with a key because none of the passwords they sent work!!! When we finally got in contact with someone after over 50 calls from us and booking.com!! They mentioned the lockbox is NOT working and they even told me where the key was hidden in the hallway - thus thei team knew the code they sent would never work!!!! It is completely unacceptable to leave us without access for so long with 3 children. When we finally accessed the property, we were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. There is mould and humidity in one of the rooms We found old, dirty socks. We found a fake nail on the floor Many mosquitoes and snots on the wall WiFi Password is incorrect The floors are dirty, clearly no vacuum cleaning was passed and it’s very dusty No kitchen paper. Two used soaps in the bathrooms, that was the only option. No shampoo, no shower gel. We truly have had the worst experience so far and we did not feel comfortable staying at the property.

The apartment was nice. A very basic ikea apartement.

The garden on the back has a massive potential. The access codes didn't work and we struggled with the entry and contact with owners. The neighbourhood is simply scary to say the list. There were parties and lots of notices coming from behind walls.

Severe bed bug problem, the property ignored all attempts to discuss the issue.

Quite noisy outside

Spacious, but useless if you can’t sleep in it.

DO NOT book here! The neighborhood did not feel safe with people fighting and yelling at night on the street below well past midnight. We even heard what sounded like a gun cocking outside of our window and strange scratching noises near our door. The apartment looks nice from the photos and on the first impression, until you find the bed bugs. (We continuously found them throughout the night). The host was nice and attentive until we complained about the bed bugs and asked for a refund. The bugs were on every bed, and even on the curtains! We ended up having to throw out many clothes because of this. When we told the host, she replied by denying that there were bed bugs, and after given photo AND video evidence, she simply ignored the refund request and just said sorry. Sorry is not enough after we were forced to stay up all night sitting around the kitchen table! (The only place with no bed bugs) We had booked this place for two nights but there was no way we were staying here for a second night after the horrendous conditions of this place. What a way to ruin a vacation.

Firstly we had €350 taken from the apartment, two of the group had cash taken from suit cases. Spoke to owner denied everything but at same time didn’t seem surprised! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! It was quite complicated to find and get into as building had no sign writing The area it’s in is also very sketchy The kitchen utensils had food still on them, the fridge was dirty and so were cupboards and draws Some of the beds had stains Some of the sheets were ripped There was nothing to hook shower heads onto!

My family and I are very happy while staying in this apartment. very clean and very comfortable for my family, parents and children, the location is very strategic, close to everything we need. go out the door and walk a few steps to the left then you will find everything you need for your comfort, starting from shops, food, laundry, even for pharmacies, everything is very affordable, if you turn right then you will find the shops you need for cooking and fruits, just walk 5 minutes to the train station. if there are more than 10 stars I will definitely give it because it is very comfortable for us to stay here (7 people) 4 adults and 3 children. even the space you need is more than enough for us who are 7 people. the host is very kind, responds to all questions and provides input that we need. thank you for all the good things you do for us

A few positives: the towels and bed linen were clean, it’s about a 20-minute walk to the city center, and the location is generally convenient. Kitchenware was provided, but it was dirty and had to be washed before use.

Absolutely not recommended — dangerous area and terrible living conditions, though a couple of small positives. The neighborhood is awful, especially for women. There are addicts and unstable people everywhere — shouting, harassing others, and behaving aggressively. Right next to the apartment, there’s a karaoke bar or club where fights, yelling, and chaos happened regularly. Walking to the apartment felt genuinely scary, especially in the evening — it constantly felt like something bad could happen. The apartment itself is in very poor condition. There was no soap, no shower gel, and no hairdryer as promised. The coffee machine doesn’t work. The shower hose is broken and sprays water everywhere. Door handles fall off, the backrest of the sofa is loose and keeps falling down. The sofas are dirty and stained — uncomfortable even to sit on. The walls are filthy, the place feels abandoned, and the atmosphere is oppressive and unsafe. The photos in the listing are completely misleading. If you value safety, comfort, and even basic cleanliness — stay far away from this place. The experience was frightening and extremely unpleasant.
