Calm, very green area, indoor pool and gym

The pool had one song playing on repeat. I asked to change it. Hadn't;t been done two days later. I asked for a a room away from sounds. Instead. they put me right across the pool area. The room itself was in a souterrain, which meant almost no daylight and no view.

Please clean / rinse the Nespresso machines in the rooms. Run them without a coffee capsule Maybe consider an Aircon for the bar

The food in the bar was bad and expensive, the breakfast good but not special (no local or homemade products for instance), the rooms very small there is even no desk, there was no shampoo in the bathroom and the conditioner was next to the hand soap near the sink not in the shower, bathroom is also very small and has see through window from the bedroom when you are in the shower!

The staff are friendly, beds comfortable, the swimming pool nice, the quiet location and ability to rent bikes and we got a map with routes and water because it was really hot, sauna was optional, beds are good and room modern

Unfortunately the rooms are really noisy, if your neighbour makes a call you can clearly follow the conversation or when they put on their tv then it sounds like your own tv in the room is on.

We stayed for four nights due to travelling to Belgium for an operation. The reception staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel was clean and you felt relaxed and at home. Due to the hotels location waking up to the sound of the birds was just what the doctor ordered. There was a minor issue with room service but this was quickly rectified by the reception staff and the manager. The food is exceptional.

Receptioniste during check in was not the most friendliest We had to pay an extra 100€ on top of our booking rate, for parking (while it was a large parking of the golfcourse next to the hotel) price quality not ok

For us the fact that we booked a room that clearly stated 1 full bed and it turned out to be two single beds put together, was a major letdown. The staff was very friendly and tried helping but it turned out all the standard rooms consist of twin beds. So housekeeping found us a large bedsheet to pull over the two mattresses but we still slipped between the mattress while turning in our sleep. The music in the further amazing swimming pool consisted of the same two songs on repeat, quite loudly, it was not a major issue but it feels a bit weird that the same two songs keep playing over and over the whole weekend. The parking is 10€ per night, this is stated on booking, so ok, but it feels a bit steep considering there is nothing nearby to park for free as it is secluded, and also the guests of the golf club and the restaurant don't need to pay for using the same parking. Rooms are a bit noise sensitive, most renovated or new hotels I stayed in the last couple of years had special features like sound panels or special isolation between the walls to keep from hearing your neighbours play TV or talk loudly, this one seems to not have that feature?

Calm area, really good location to venture out with the car or bicycle into Genk and the national park or explore nearby Zutendaal. Very clean rooms (we know as we saw three of them, but more on that below in the next field). Beware that the standard rooms are very compact yet feature everything you need for a short stay. Bathroom was new and good pressure in the shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful, you can feel there is a sense of making the guest feel welcome and comfortable.

Beautiful well arranged room with all facilities. Cosy bar which serves good food as well. Even better Moonstone restaurant for exquisite dining. Large indoor pool with hot showers and beds. Sauna. Location next to beautiful bycicle routes in Kempen. We were happy the good service also included bringing our bycicle to the repair shop and assistence when our car broke down.

Room and toilet space a bit too compact,

Beautiful room, very efficient arranged everything was well thought of. Good service, nice and cosy bar where you can have good meals. Even better Moonstone restaurant for exquisite dining. Location next to many beautiful Kempen bycicle routes. We were happy that the service included bringing our bycicle to repair shop and assistance when our car broke down. Recommended and worth another stay.

Definitely make sure you have a reservation for dinner, especially if not arriving early. As late eaters we were lucky we did, as 8 pm seemed to the cut off

The hotel was very cozy and sleek, especially for the price. We were impressed by the quality for such a reasonable price, especially because we stayed last minute on NYE. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Loved the heated pool and fireplace and late opening hours for pool and Sauna. Breakfast was amazing, though quite pricey
