Beautiful apartment, very clean and the most comfortable bed

The gentleman that checked us in was very kind and helpful.

This is in such a great location! And such a fabulous stay! We had travelled quite a way by motorcycle that day, and although we missed it on arrival first time around the block, as our satnav wanted us to go to the rear of the building, the property was clearly named on the gate and we found it no problem. Serge’s instructions were super detailed and completely accurate. Key codes for gates, key box for room, instructions to find the suite - all spot on. He is a very responsive and helpful host. Perfect secure parking for the bike too. Really comfortable bed, excellent shower and quiet location. Lovely shared kitchen amenity. A special thanks for the restaurant recommendations too - Roberto’s for supper was superb and the patisserie down the road supplied the most wonderful breakfast pastries.

I think the only thing which could be improved and would give a total wow factor would be a quick tidy up of the main entrance hall. I did briefly wonder if we’d accidentally walked into the wrong house due to all the packaging boxes in the hall. Then I saw the visitor’s book and knew we were in the right building!

Best location in Mons that offers secure parking free on the property. The lovely old property is being lovingly restored and is comfortable and very clean. It was very quiet as well. Serge, the host, met us briefly by chance and was quite personable.

The directions for locating the key to access the room should make it clear that the key box is located on the brick wall that is on the outside facing the front door. There was a big trailer obscuring the boxes and we were lucky someone inside helped us. Then we helped the next guests checking in who were as confused as we were.

An outstanding stay in a period property with very modern facilities. The host (Serge) and his staff are very helpful and kind - nothing is too much trouble. The location is quiet, but within a very short walk to the centre. The safe parking facilities are a real bonus in Mons. Highly recommended to all. Superb. AP

the beauty of the premises, the house is gorgeous. free parking in the city. spacious room with loads of windows, making it really bright. huge TV and fire place, free coffee/tea in the room. walk-in closet & big shower. very big bed and couple of sofas to chill-out in room. fully equipped, shared kitchen on the floor.

nothing :o) but if I have to be picky: the height of the bed (quite difficult to get on it), the softness of the mattress and the relatively narrow space between the sink and the wall in the bathroom.

The owner is really friendly and helpful. My room was really nice.

To find the location was not a good experience. The address given is not matching on any SatNav. This is not very convenient, especially when you arrive late in the evening. It took me 35 min walking around trying to find it. I was lucky there was an open shop in vicinity, which owner helped me to find the place. Will strongly recommend to add explanation how to get to the property especially providing that it is well known that the adress can't be find through SatNav (Google Maps, etc.). Additionally, it was challenging to find my room, would recommend putting name or number tags on the room's doors.

The room was quirky and fun.

The building looked tired and the kitchen arrangements were odd. A provision for only chocolate spread and honey was made in addition to the usual coffee and tea.

Excellent rooms that are well designed, comfortable and great secure parking. There is a common area with food, but loved the Nespresso machine in the room!

No lift, also the internet wasn’t working while we were there- but I think that shouldn’t be an issue for future guests.

The owner was responsive, helpful with an issue, and made a great impression by ensuring genuine satisfaction for guests. The room was located in a splendid old house about 5-6 minutes' walk from the main square. There was secure parking and access to the room was straightforward.

This is minor feedback; having a letter on the key fobs confirming the room is great (we had a D for Duchess) and a corresponding sign/mark on the room door would be even more helpful! :)

Property difficult to find. No name on building or house number. It is a work in progress. Several items in room and common areas were in stages of renovation. No lift.

A lovely well appointed room, very close to the Grande Place in Mons.

The owner, Serge, was extremely accomodating, showed me around, and he gave great food and attraction recommendations. The bed was amazing and the temperature of the room was perfect. The shower was excellent as well. Lots of room, a hidden gem in downtown Mons. 100% will go back! Parking, which was hard to find was excellent as well. Private parking, secure behind a gate.

Intriguing interior, like an hommage to a secret rooms in a palace, talking about the comfort is very nice and practical: parking downstairs, kitchen is nice, location is very good. Bed is like a cloud, definitely a highlight

Beautify , spacious room. Interesting bathroom. Hidden behind the large walls. Kitchen was also a bonus. Could make our own breakfast at our leisure. Fantastic location! Very quiet. Wonderful to have parking.

Absolutely helpful and supportive host (greetings, Serge!!!). Location is really convenient, no traffic noise. Premises - absolutely clean. Bed. Oh, that bed is not only king size, but also king comfortable and soft like a cloud. Kitchen is brand new furnished with all equipment you might need for your cuisine mastership. All in all, I would definitely recommend it for all, who travel to Mons.

Toilet is on one side of the room and the bathroom - on the other. So, to wash your hands after toilet, you have to "travel" too much. A very strong wind was howling one night, and roofing tin was clattering like hell.
