How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

My room was above the terrace, and sometimes the music was really loud. Nothing that the hotel can do, but just be aware the walk from Brussels Nord to the hotel isn't the best neighbourhood...
The staff were the most kind and helpful. Everywhere was really clean and beautifully presented. The bed was comfy and the shower nice too. I got some room service which was lovely.

Nothing not to like. Everything met our expectations and more.
Great customer service provided each day. Excellent choice in breakfast menu. Very comfortable and spacious room, with all the facilities we could want. Conveniently located near metro.

We had a little confusion. We didn't order breakfast because it seemed a bit expensive so we ordered some ham and cheese sandwiches to the room. They weren't in the menu, but they didn't tell us and charged full breakfast Of course after that we went down to have the proper breakfast we had payed 😂
Excellent in every aspect. I love this kind of place that takes care of every detail. Very nice ice and comfortable Impeccable staff. Specially Marta, the maitre. Was very attentive with my wife's food intolerance

The location - we walked from the North Train station and it was a very bad area.

The location wasn't the safest feeling, but it was quite easy to get to town on the meteo. The shower got stuck on really hot and the mechanism to change it jammed.
Really pretty hotel, very modern and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful too.

Location is not the best. Did not feel comfortable to go out at night. For a new hotel the build quality could be better.

The street from Gare du Nors to the Hotel goes through a bit of a sketchy area so take a taxi or Uber
Its a bit out of the way of the tourist area and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is great

Staying at Liman, Brussels was an excellent experience. The contact from the hotel prior to arrival was warm and appreciated. The greetings and early check in when we got there was highly professional and extremely welcoming, including an acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary. The room was spacious and stylish and only a 20 minute walk from the centre of town. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay! The breakfast had plenty of warm and cold options for all tastes. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive—any request was handled immediately. The location isn’t downtown, but it’s very close to the city and metro. Rooms were spotless with large, comfy beds (especially for Europe). Family-owned with a warm, welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

I didn’t like the shower panel in the room. It was a clear glass panel, so it felt like everyone could see inside the bathroom, which was uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was great.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good with plenty of options, and the staff were excellent – always friendly and helpful. The location was also very convenient, close to everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again.
