Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomArea around is in the middle of building works so probably didn't look at it's best!
Lovely hotel, very handy for Brussels Midi station and the Eurostar terminal. Huge room, great bathroom, comfy beds and nice decor. We didn't eat or drink there so can't comment on that but otherwise, a great stay.

UkraineNeighbourhood is the worst location of the city. Homeless and drug addict. Everyone sleeps in the square. Was not possible to walk to the hotel because it’s basically unsafe. Ugliest part is Location . It was no hot water on the 5th floor however we managed it somehow and last night they relocated us to ground floor .
Hotel is very clean and new Facilities are great nothing to complain I liked minimalistic room Nice female (dark skin beautiful lady )receptionist unfortunately don’t know the name

United KingdomThe only issue was the sound that carried from the hallway (cleaners talking in the early morning) or from upstairs (people walking), though this didn't bother us much.
Friendly staff and nice reception area. The room was comfortable and large with a corridor to the ensuite bathroom, which was also large. It was close to the station and reasonably close to the centre.

United KingdomThe nearby area was very dirty and felt a bit unsafe at night. The room I had was quite small and looked onto a lightwell vertical shaft. But I wasn't staying for long so it was ok.
The location was perfect to catch the Eurostar very early in the morning. The room was tastefully decorated. Perfect for a quick over-nighter. Staff were helpful when I couldn't turn off my TV.

United KingdomIf you could buy drinks there (even non-alcoholic) that would be great. It is probably not the prettiest location in terms of the surrounding area, but I felt very comfortable and safe nonetheless and it is no different to parts of other cities in that respect.
Probably one of the cleanest places I have stayed in, it was immaculate! Many thanks to the housekeeping staff. The breakfast was also superb, such a great choice and a lovely place to sit and enjoy it. Staff were very accommodating and the place is lovely, beautiful decor and a nice oasis.

North MacedoniaIt’s missing a few things. For a hotel that looks like this it doesn’t provide slippers and robes. Also there is no mini fridge (my first time experiencing this in a hotel). I requested a queen size bed but they didn’t respond and gave me two single beds room. I didn’t mind it but I would have preferred to have a queen size bed.
Great ambiance. Clean. Great location. Generously sized rooms.

United KingdomThe location looks a little bit rough in comparison to the hotel BUT we had two young kids and never felt unsafe. Also very convenient for eurostar and City centre so a great compromise
Very modern, super clean and a great reception. Room was comfortable if a tiny bit small but had everything we needed.

United StatesLocation was good In regards to distance from the train, but overall, the neighborhood was not the highest quality. We were very disappointed until we walked about 15 minutes toward the square and realized the beauty of Brussels. When we arrived, there was a fight that broke out on our walk to the hotel. Of course, not the hotel's fault or location or this incident, but it was unfortunate. We also had a large man sleeping outside of our door when we woke up at 5:00 a.m. to catch the 6:00 a.m. train. He was blocking our way out so I nudged him to wake him up. He was obviously drunk, and I assume he could not get into the room next door but I am not certain.
The staff was wonderful, they took early luggage to put it in holding since we arrived before check in. It was a relatively quick walk from the train station to the hotel. Very clean and modern for the area.

United KingdomWe chose this hotel because it was close to Midi (our choice for train convenience.) Although the hotel inside was great, we didn't feel particularly safe when walking around the area (including to and from public transport, especially at night with kids.) Also something to bear in mind is that all through the summer there is a fair right over the road that runs til v late and is v noisy.
Room was decent sized and staff were fab.

United KingdomThe location was slightly outside of the historic centre (which was fine) but the immediate surroundings did not feel safe. If staying here you will need an Uber account as I would caution against walking back at night.

United KingdomUnfortunately, the location doesn't quite match the feel of the hotel, so there's little option for local food or places to go until you're in the centre of Brussels. A fair was running immediately opposite the hotel, which we could hear till late on the Saturday night, but in fairness, it was quieter earlier on the other evenings.
The hotel is beautifully finished - a real gem in the area. The room was comfortable and a decent size.

United KingdomThe bad bit was the area definitely wouldn't recommend it for lone travellers especially females. Lots of people hanging around in square outside and I should imagine when the road fair wasn't there it would be very quiet, I would feel very intimidated walking back to hotel. Also sometimes the noise above the room was loud as you were under the table and chairs which could be noisy when people were banging and scrapping them late but you got used to it, but if you light sleepers might not like it. This is a shame as otherwise it is lovely
A lovely reception area on arrival. The staff were very helpful and happy to order taxis, get extra towels when needed. We were in room G03 it was down one level wow the room was massive a large double bed and two full size singles and a bathroom I have never seen one so large. It was clean and had everything you could ask for opening windows for fresh air or great Air con, shower was great and plenty of plugs etc. We didn't eat breakfast here but it always smelled nice. Cleaners were lovely, polite and had a laugh sometimes in translation. Nice to have 24/7 reception and at night security as well. If you could walk it wasn't far from the stations otherwise we could call a taxi into town which we did often as I cannot walk far fare around 12€ A lovely restaurant across the road had nice food and we sat outside which was nice on arrival.

United KingdomDespite staying more than one night they would not refill the coffee/tea pods. This seemed a little stingy. The area outside is not great (but for Brussels about average).
Hotel has a well presented lobby, and a sitting area out back to use in the evenings. Room clean with aircon and coffee making facilities.

United StatesOutside the hotel is very sketchy with a dirty park and its sad because if it was cleaner or even maybe a fenced off space it would be more appealing.
The hotel is great once you're inside and close to the central station as well at the main city center where theres alot to see and do.
