A very comfortable, beautifully decorated house within easy distance from the cross Channel ports.

On reflection, the only things I would recommend to the owners would be to install safety rail/barrier of some kind for the steep narrow stairs, as we found this dangerous for young children. And some better ventilation for the bedrooms, or some insect mesh on the sky-light windows if possible. We found the bedrooms got very hot due to being attic rooms, but we couldn't open the windows as mosquitos came in and had a feast during the night! But this is likely just a issue due to the timing of our visit.

Easy check in and out. Excellent communication from owners. Very clean, good location. We did not meet the owners in person, but the communication, and understanding from them was perfect, they are very nice and friendly. The property is beautiful, and excellent for children to play in the garden and eat alfresco! We WILL likely be staying again in the future.

If you are at all infirm, you may struggle with the stairs, as you near the bottom steps they don’t have much depth to them. The loo is downstairs, if you need to go in the night, tread carefully.

The property is lovely, clean and comfortable. If you like a firm bed, it’s for you.

There isn't a lock on the shower room door. Not a problem, but a note that the stairs are fairly steep. Car needed to visit local shops.

The house was gorgeously decorated and recently renovated. In a lovely quiet location, and drivable to Bruges and Ghent in under an hour. Lovely spacious but cosy lounge and comfy bedrooms.

The stairs to the bedrooms is quite narrow which can be difficult if you are less flexable.

The livingroom and bathroom are big and open for a family of 4. The kitchensupplies were good, with the microwave/oven. The beds were large enough and parking space at the front door.

When we arrived in the evening the house was cold, with 14.5 °C inside. It took until the morning to get to 20°C-s. Also, the house was situated next to a road of 70km/h, not too much traffic but not quiet either.

Cosy, nice interior, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, overall very clean.

On arrival we found that there were no towels which was a massive inconvenience as we were travelling from abroad with children and checked in late. In addition, the location of the property was not close to shopping facilities. Another thing that we was a concern was the staircases leading to the bedrooms. The steep and narrow steps and the lack of banister was a big concern especially with young children.The stairs were a safety concern especially at night time as the only toilet is located on the ground floor at the entrance. On one occasion my 5yrs old daughter slid down the last few remaining steps, luckily she landed ok otherwise she could have seriously hurt herself.

The bedrooms, the toilet and the bathroom are on three different floors. On the groundfloor, there is a toilet, on an intermediate floor the bathroom without a toilet and on the first floor the bedrooms.The stairs up to the bedrooms are such narrow and steep that I wouldn‘t advise staying there with small children or old or physically disabled people. Above all, you cannot tell this from the pictures on the website of booking.com. The bedrooms are sparsely furnished, the lamps not bright enough for reading. NO TOWELS !!! Relatively pricey.

The house has been recently renovated and redecorated. There is a nice living-room and kitchen with all necessary supplies.
