We had two flights of fairly steep stairs to climb to our room - slightly inconvenient if you have luggage, although good exercise I suppose!!

Very friendly, welcoming host. The hotel building itself has a lot of old fashioned charm. We particularly liked the conservatory area where we had breakfast each morning looking out onto the garden. Our bed was comfortable and breakfast each morning was very generous!

The attic rooms do get warm in hot weather but the hotel did everything it could to keep them cool and a good fan is provided.

This little historical gem was both beautiful and charming. The owners were super helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was a wonderful way to start our day with plenty of options. Will definitely come back when in the area.

While an elevator would have been helpful to transport bags to our second floor room, it also would detract from the decor and ambiance of the building.

The owner of the hotel met us on site and was incredibly helpful with all questions we had about the area. Breakfast was very good and served in a quaint solarium. He even went so far as to provide a take away meal when our departure reservations occurred before breakfast was served.

The property is ideal for a visit to bustling Bruges where people and parking can make the prospect of a visit, daunting. It is situated an easy and short drive from the city where, just outside the historical centre, parking is plentiful. A wonderful breakfast is provided and when a breather is required, one can relax in the lush garden. The rooms are classy and comfortable and the host - Joaquin, is most accommodating - sharing information re. the area and providing advice, if needed.

Very cosy place, the staff are pleasant and helpful. I prize for comfort and cleaness, and the hotel met my expactations. The room was quiet and there are blackout blinds, perfect. Brilliant breakfast.

This was an elegant old hotel with nicely updated rooms. Very calm, comfortable. The bed was great. Bus stop right outside the front gate which goes directly to Bruges. Owner made fresh eggs for us to order in the morning.

Our room had a small bathroom, which is not a problem, but I would have liked to have some more hanging hooks for the towels and our stuff so to take full advantage of the little space

Lovely place with a warm atmosphere. The host was very helpful and kind, gave us suggestions and was also very nice when we asked for something more for our room. The hotel is just outside Bruges but in can be easily reached by bus and the stop is just outside the hotel. For us it’s been great because we had our bicycles and every time we found a new different cycle path to go back and forth.

Beautiful Hotel, full of original character and a beautiful orangery where we ate our delicious breakfast which was continental . Very good parking outside, lovely gardens , host was very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much problem
