Bulgaria* not a hotel - no physical reception. (picture) * not an apartment with 2 rooms - one room with semi-wall in the middle. no kitchen. (picture) Also it was not a single-space for our apartment - there was a shared corridor, leading to another room where the staff lives. This results in privacy issues - including the fact that the common door leading to the corridor was carelessly left open multiple times while were away. This was not intentional - just carelessness which caused us to be worried about our belongings. * no mirrors (in the room or in the bathroom) (picture) * no garbage bin in the room. (only one small garbage bin in the bathroom) * difficult to find - luckily the woman on the phone provided GPS coordinates (this should be in added in the booking.com information in advance) * only 4 parking spots and 2 extra spots which were permanently occupied by the staff (i.e. not use-able by the guests) * almost no furniture in the room: (pictures) - 2 double beds with 1 night stand (?!?) - 2 small bureaus with no chairs - 1 chair for the whole "apartment" - and it was not the most functional one - no dress hangers outside of the wardrobes - very few hangers in the wardrobes - not enough drawers and shelves in the wardrobes * badly made floor in the bathroom - the drain on the floor was only in the shower area (no second drain outside the shower area). After every time we took a bath there was a medium sized puddle on the floor and our flip-flops were too wet when going out from the bathroom. This resulted in wet spot right in front of the bathroom and it smelled like mould. * we had to throw away the thrash and to dry the puddle of water in the bathroom ourselves every day. * no laundry machine in the "apartment". small metal drying rack. * a lot of empty space in the room which was not use-able. pictures here: https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=kZN1MK0ZJS1VWdGGYs7GWqMlUz9t15HaUD87
* good location. * quiet. * excellent customer service on the phone. every time we had a request it was promptly addressed. We requested change of sheets and towels every 3 days and every time it was quickly done. * ok yard and lawn. terrace on 2nd floor (probably available for the apartments on the 2nd floor). * possibility for grill in the yard. * small fridge in the room

BulgariaThe rooms on the 3rd floor are pretty dark as the windows are very little and the central ceiling doesn’t compensate enough if you need more light. There are naked cables coming out of everywhere which seems also a bit dangerous, especially in the bathroom. No top ceiling in the bathroom, unpainted wooden column with screws coming out of it. Ventilation not working. No facilities yet in the common kitchen area. No available password for the wi-fi unless you search for the guardian and ask him for it. No channels available on the TV. Room access is through a code on the door handle, but the code is so easy to guess for all the rooms that you start to think if someone may enter your room because there is no possibility to lock from the inside or change the code. Limited parking spots for a maximum of 5-6 cars by blocking some of the other cars. So you may need to takeoff the car is someone is in front of you and needs to go.
The facility is looking good and comfy at first sight because everything is new and just finished. The design is good. Air conditioning works well.

BulgariaEverything started with the check-in, there was no one to welcome us or to be found for check-in, after a few minutes walking around the building, I found a guy cleaning a room and asked him how can we check-in. He had troubles understanding me and told me to wait while he started making phone calls. In a few minutes he simply told me "There are no rooms". All this happens at 3pm, while the check-in is 2pm. After a few more minutes they found us a room and allowed us to check-in. Once we entered the room, we were all in shock, the damp smell was so strong, there were cables coming out of the walls, only 2 towels for a booking of 4 adults, there was no iron (thankfully they found us), no hairdryer or any other basic amenities. We were in a rush to get ready for a wedding so didn't have time to ask for other rooms (there would have been no point as well as the staff was barely speaking bulgarian or english). We powered through and we stayed the night, but that was easily my worst stay in a hotel ever.

BulgariaFacility is not finished yet. Some unfinished works are still present. Hot water was running only in the sink but not in the shower. Also, security is a bit questionable since the doors use pin to open and I’m not sure how often those are changed.
AC was working and furniture is brand new.

Quiet place, good value for money, new build, good internet signal, free parking possibilities around, good english speaker staff.
