How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was amazing!
The guest house was perfect for our group of 12 people. Very comfortable, modern amenities and the host was very welcoming and helpful with all our enquires. Parking spaces were available The location was perfect for the 7 Rila Lakes as well as there was a swimming pool complex nearby (10min walk max) which was an additional bonus!

Parking in a pedestrian area, with a very high edge. quite a shabby and shaky bed. On the other side, the windows overlook the car wash, which is quite loud. Luckily, we had an interpreter with us, so communication was smooth.
Perfect location and apartment, with a great view of the sunset. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine. There is enough space for all four guests. The common terrace is available, but it's not fully equipped (probably due to the beginning of the season). Also, there was an option for BBQ (didn't use it) Nice restaurants within walking distance

Ensure that you turn on the main switch for the hot water service. Otherwise, you will have a cold shower (like me the first night).
Spacious with a nice communal terrace facing the rear of the property. Central but quiet location. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Big apartment right near 7 Rila Lakes Hike. Nice to be away from the city. It has a washing machine and kitchen.

We can park our motorcycle in the yard. Small grocerie is 2 minutes walking distance and a few good restaurants is in nearby.

We Spent the two nights in there and both nights there was loud music from place across the street until 2am..
The apartment is very nicely equipped and you will really get everything thing you need in there

What an amazing little gem in the city! Awesome deck for hanging out in the sunshine after a long hike and our own big, comfortable apartment. Also, we accidentally left some things in the room and Christian was nice enough to collect them and meet us hours later to retrieve everything. Highly recommend this place!

I'm not sure it is more about our bad luck ore about the location of the apartment. There is a cafe opposite the house but on the other side of the road and at the day of our stay it was a wedding here. The sound from that cafe was so loud that half of my family couldn't sleep until 3 or 4 am.
Apartment is perfectly clean, equipped with all you need and even more (except for the kettle) with very good stylish renovation. Check-on was quick and easy. We liked it very much.

All was great
Great hosts, great place to stay. The house is on a quiet street very close to the center. Everything you need is on a walking distance from the house - restaurants, supermarkets, a butcher’s shop, souvenir shops and all. The apartment was cosy and very well furnished, the patio was also very nice, especially the summer garden with the barbecue and with the rolling wall-windows were great for spending the evenings. Last but not least, the audio system with the USB/iOS cable output was cool to have in the summer garden. Much recommended, we would definitely stay again.

Nothing, it was perfect!
The house exceeded our expectations with all the modern facilities, an excellent garden and outdoor dining. The beds were very comfortable and the communication with our host was great. This house is the best place we’ve rented so far!

This property will be perfect if the host installs some thicker curtains or blinds. There were some lights in the yard that stay on the whole night and there was light in the room from them. My husband slept without a problem but I need complete darkness to sleep and I found it a bit too bright inside.
It was really clean, stylish in a quiet area. It has everything we needed. It was spacious and comfortable.

The property is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The terrace is an amazing place to hang out and to watch beautiful sunsets. Good locations with bars and restaurants close by. Easily a driveable distance from Rila 7 lakes and Mount Musala. The host was really nice and responded quickly to any queries.

Very nice and clean place. Near the center. The host was very friendly, he showed us some good restaurants and other places to visit. Also, we made some barbeque ourselves.

We were on the ground floor, and during winter the floor gets very cold and with only one air conditioner inside, it was quite hard to warm it. We had to keep the air conditioner working all day and night to keep the temperature warm enough. The bathroom was nice but again very cold and hard to warm up unless you keep the door open all the time. The view outside is not pleasing with quite old and depressing buildings around.
The living room was spacious and pleasant. The facilities were convenient. The place is very close to the center of the town. Also, there is a very good pizza place nearby.
