Hard unsupportive mattress. l am used to a memory foam one and this was a fairly hard spring one.Having said that,they are the standard here.Could just be my pampered western back.......

Overall a lovely experience. Clean, warm, well positioned hotel with good facilities including it's own restaurant and friendly staff.

they write that the reception is open 24 hours but when we went there the boss wasn't there but a cleaning lady who didn't know about the reservation or how to pay

Some idiots with very loud car exhausts and motorbikes who made a terrible racket now and then up and down the main street, and the police at the nearby police station seem to do nothing about it!

What a wonderful hotel with gloriously spacious and extremely well equipped rooms, even for self-catering with a large fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery, crockery & glassware supplied! We had an extremely comfortable bed and a very nice balcony with table and two chairs, and heaps of space to sit and in room and to put things. The location is marvellous, right near the centre of town which is just a short walk away. The restaurant located in the hotel courtyard serves an excellent breakfast as well as other meals, and is quite popular with the local people. It is a beautiful area with plants, vines, flowers and a water feature so it is a joy to sit there and enjoy a meal and to relax. It is a lovely little town and we thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay there. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful. The scenery all around the area is too beautiful.

Unfortunately, due to my personal reasons we could not visit the hotel. We had a chat with the owners and they did not charge us for the booking. Nice, polite people, they understood our change of plan. We hope we will visit the hotel in a near future.

The cuisine in the restaurant is decent enough but could be improved.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very big and well equipped. There was a good option for parking and the location of the hotel is in the centre of the city. They serve good espresso.

We arrived late in the evening, and unfortunately, no one was at the reception to assist us. Because of this, we didn’t receive the remote for the air conditioning, which made the night uncomfortable. We also had ants in the room and the toilet was not always flushing. Breakfast was also a letdown — the options were very limited and low quality, and there was no chef available to prepare even a simple omelet. The overall service experience was poor and needs improvement.

The room was spacious, clean, and offered good value for money. For a short overnight stay, the space itself was comfortable and met basic expectations.

Family-run hotel. However the family was missing during our stay. It started upon the arrival. The young lady at the reception desk did not know which rooms we had reserved via booking.com. After a phone call to presumably the owner, this was resolved. Then we had to learn that the restaurant was not available that evening for hotel guests due to a party. We had chosen this hotel for the restaurant after a whole day of flying from Belgium and driving. Later we noticed that in one of the two rooms there was no water for the toilet. From bad to worse: when we wanted to take a shower in the same room we found that there was only water coming from the tap but not from the shower head. The knob was broken off and you could clearly see that this had not been done the day before by the previous guest. At the reception no one to be found to solve these problems presumably because of the party.

Breakfast was okay.

Received confirmation of booking and went to check-in (during check-in hours) but all doors were locked and I couldn’t gain access to the hotel. There was no answer to my phone call and no response to my message sent on the Booking.com app. Had to then find alternate accommodation at the last minute in a smallish town where there weren’t many other options. Don’t risk booking unless you have a back-up plan.
