Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. UkraineOn the downside, the water in the pools felt quite cold, so we preferred swimming in the sea, where the water was warmer and more comfortable. The evening children's animation could use more variety. While different animated characters appeared each night, the overall program felt repetitive, with the same songs and dances every time.
We had a wonderful family vacation at Rate Sol Nessebar Mare All Inclusive! The hotel grounds are fantastic: well-maintained, spacious, and offering plenty of activities for everyone. The kids absolutely loved the variety of activities available for them! The easy access to the beach was a big plus, and the multiple pools, along with the mini waterpark featuring slides, were a huge hit with the whole family.

HungaryMaybe the best all-inclusive hotel at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. There are so many kiosks in the garden where you can eat various and delicious food like paella, panini, burgers, fish and chips, etc. The sandy beach is lovely, there are many pools and the aquapark is open for a long time (3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, which is longer then in other similar hotels). The variety of food is excellent in the main restaurant. It is not the hotel's failure that many guests cannot behave appropriately in an all you can eat restaurant and they take out extreme amount of food, which they cannot eat and therefore the level of wasted food is very high. However it is annoying to see that you cannot get a single piece of baklava half an hour after the opening of the restaurant because dozen pieces are taken out by some other guests, who then leave it at their table as a waste...

IsraelSome of the food was a less impressive (most of the desserts, breads and pastries, some of the fruits, sometimes some of the meat), the Sushi at night is a big NO-NO! Coffee machines could be better if the milk powder wasn't so sweet... The water in the pool contained too much chlorine, so your eyes tend to burn easily. Could be nice if there were real lifeguards around, not just for the slides, and some enforcement of no smoking in the pool areas. Also, as expected, the need to mark seats at the pool early in the morning is quite a chore when coming to a vacation - a little disturbing and taking away from the fun of it.
Food was okay for the most part, always found something we like. salads and veggies, cheeses and special restaurants (Chinese and Italian) were great. Also the snacks throughout the day were more than enough. Water park and slides were a great attraction, spent there most of the time. The room was big and spacious, nice balcony, not fancy but well maintained and cleaned every day. The kids loved the night shows, always asked to go, every time. Great coffee at the lobby bar (much needed in the morning, better if opened earlier). The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful.

HungaryThe dinner has ended at 21:00 with a hard stop, meaning even if you stopped bringing any food, you could not finish your dinner peacefully as the waiters are coming to your table in every minutes and tries to collect everything. Would be good to leave the quests finishing their dinner or dinner should be served until 22:00.
We liked the location, see coast, foods.

RomaniaThe rules for using the slides must be more clear. The staff from Burger corner and beach bar need to be more polite. The inflatable slides on the sea side must be better secured and the rustied chains replaced.

IsraelFantastic Family Vacation at Sol Nessebar Mare! We stayed at Sol Nessebar Mare from August 1st to 7th, and it was truly one of the best family vacations we’ve had! The resort is perfect for families with kids — the water park is a dream come true, with amazing slides and pools for all ages. Our children had endless fun every single day, whether at the pools or on the beach, which is just a few steps away. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. We especially appreciated how helpful and friendly the staff were — always smiling and ready to assist. The all-inclusive meals were excellent, with a wide variety of tasty and fresh food throughout the day. There was always something delicious for both kids and adults. The snack bars and drinks by the pool were a big bonus! And the location is perfect — quiet, green, and peaceful, but still close enough to the Old Town of Nessebar for a fun family walk or a short trip to explore. We came back home with big smiles, great memories, and a strong desire to return again. Highly recommended for any family looking for a fun, stress-free, and memorable vacation by the sea!

Israel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Family Vacation! We had the most amazing stay at Sol Nessebar Mare All Inclusive from 1st to 7th August, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The hotel exceeded all expectations — it’s truly a paradise for families! 🌊 Water park: The water slides and pools were a huge hit with the kids (and the adults too!). Everything was clean, safe, and well maintained. The sea view in the background made it even more magical. 🍽️ All-inclusive food: Delicious, fresh, and with plenty of variety. Every meal felt like a feast, and there was always something tasty for everyone – including picky eaters. 🏖️ Beach & Location: Just a short walk to the beach with crystal-clear water and beautiful views. The hotel is perfectly located, close to Nessebar Old Town, but quiet enough for relaxing. 🛏️ Rooms: Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot days. 🎉 Entertainment & Staff: From morning to evening, there were great activities for kids and adults alike. The animation team was fantastic, and the staff was always friendly, professional, and helpful. If you’re looking for a relaxing, fun-filled, and stress-free vacation for the whole family – Sol Nessebar Mare is the perfect place. We’ll definitely be back next summer!

Switzerland1. The Wifi was terrible. 2. The room door locking system was vulnerable. I had to often pass by the reception desk to renew my room key card. 3. Annoying was for me the fact that they moved all the food at 5pm. I understand that they don’t offer anymore warm fast food, but why they also took away the sweets and fruits. The dinner started at 6.30pm, but if you are used to eat close to 8pm, a little snack around 6pm would have been favorable. 4. The booking of the special restaurants was only accepted at the reception of the partner hotel Palace. 5. The swimming area in the sea was quite small (i.e., restricted due to water sports too close to the beach). I guess this is rather the city‘s responsibility and not from the hotel, but still important to know.
The Family room are two connected rooms. Great and convenient. There are so many activities and culinary possibilities. The buffet offered a good choice and changed the food choice from day to day. Also, the snack restaurants offered good fast food. I also liked the direct access to the beach. The animation team was great and the cleaning team did a fantastic job. Safe parking

SlovakiaIt was confusing why you can't use umbrellas in front of other hotel of the complex, even if they are free. Beach was close, but small. No offer of umbrellas, only for 5*.
Everything was close, every day you find some program to do according to your interest. Food was just perfect! But if you miss it, you'll find at some stations small things. Slides are very good and pools are children friendly. Clean rooms, beach towels.

IsraelThe food is not suitable for vegetarians since they use butter in everything, even pasta without sauce. The food is fresh but overcooked. But - there are salad and other veggie options, but for hot food, it is a bit problematic for vegetarians.
The staff, the waterpark and the room (bit old) but great for kids. They have nice specialized restaurants, and there are so many all-inclusive food options that are well adapted for kids. It was great we will be back for sure.

United KingdomWiFi was a bit weak, (could barely get a signal on the room’s balcony) we found the ice cream to be of low quality and the coffee wasn’t great - I think it was made using powdered milk. This is definitely nit picking though
This large and quite busy resort is actually 3 hotels all part of the same group sharing the same leisure facilities which is good because you have many different choices of pools and restaurants available. There is also access to the beach from the hotel grounds (but on our deal you would have to pay extra for a sun bed on the beach). It is definitely a family oriented resort with many activities available for kids of all ages. We had no issues with the room and found the food to be of a very good standard for the price point. We were happy with the all inclusive and there’s plenty of options for between meal snacks and drinks. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. Overall we had a very nice stay and would definitely consider returning next year.

RomaniaThe pool and the sunbeds. They look cheap, as from a 3 star hotel
The hotel is not that impressive. The facilities are ok. The room was always clean and for this I would give a 10. The food was acceptable, the pool for this hotel was not that nice, especially the sunbeds area. However, we were able to pay some extra money to upgrade our package and use the sunbeds and the restaurant from Sol Nessebar Palace, which are much better and fitted our needs.

Amazing place, we had a great time, the food was very good and the service was awesome. The staff was very efficient and friendly. We loved the evening shows that were put on.
