How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewA very nice accommodation, quiet and a great view. The apartments are well equipped (all needed appliances).
There is no shortcut to the beach/ promenade area, so walking takes a bit longer.

Verified reviewThe stuff communication was very good even if we didn't see each other. The garden was very clean and the apartment. We received a bottle of wine and a bottle of water.
The location is very bad. Without a car is impossible to stay comfortable there and the security I don't know...I didn't feel very confident on this place. In the middle on no where, with an entrance very weird like a deposit, with glass at the main door, if someone wanted to enter, they could. Doesn't show much security for me this place, more when you have a little baby with you. In the photos the place wasn't presented like that, with that weird garden. They don't have salt, oil in the kitchen, but this wasn't so important.

Verified reviewThe view is the most spectacular thing about this place. The apartment is lovely, 2 bedrooms each with its en-suite bathroom, 2 terraces, equipped kitchen, toiletries, and enough towels. We were welcomed with a bottle of water and a bottle of Primitivo wine (my favourite type of grape). The location is easy accessible and allows you to explore the city and the entire surrounding area. We went on a different trip everyday. Restaurants and tourist attractions were open and we were impressed that almost everyone spoke Romanian (besides English).
It was a bit cold inside the apartment when we got there but it was easy to warm it up with the ACs.

Verified reviewThe self check in procedure works very well and the online communication is excellent. Once inside, we found a beautiful, very well maintained and well equipped apartment, with a nice panoramic view over the sea. We had a pleasant stay!

Verified reviewThe appartment is perfect!!! You have absolutely everything. Lilk even glasses for martini and margaritas. Everything is new. Clean. Comfortable. It was exactly what we needed for family. Perfect view from balcony. We knew that the place is isolated and it takes around 20 minutes to get to the nearest store walking. But we were ready for this. And its better to be with car.

Verified reviewRooms were spacy, terrace has great view, furniture was comfy, privacy is guaranteed.
No elevator, a bit in the wild, nearby road has no pedestrian walk, the coffee maker didn't work because it was stuffed full with discarded grounds and nobody bothered to clean it or perform some maintenance, the towels weren't enough, not a single carpet or rug to step on, even after shower. The front door needs blinds/shades, otherwise all is visible to other neighbors in the building.

Verified reviewThe apartment looks the same as shown in the photo. It has everything a family needs for cooking, laundry and relaxing (inside and outside). My favourite was the dishwashers. The kids really enjoyed having breakfast at the bar. In addition, I also liked the way we received info and the keys to the apartment. It's a very good idea to code everything.
The wi-fi connection was a bit low. It has a good connection of only about 3 m around the router. The beach is pretty far from the flat. We had to go by car every day.

Verified reviewThe flat has a very well equipped kitchen, everything you might need. Good beds (a bit on the firm side but this is how we like it). The view is great, plenty of parking space but not close to the center, need a car to go to the sea for dinner or beach. The living room is quite spacious.
There aren't mosquito nets, we had to get raid machines for the electric sockets so we could sleep comfortably.
