GermanyThe airconditioner did not function properly and having reading lamps next to the bed would be a great addition. Breakfast is good, but you need to plan some time as it takes quite a while to prepare.
The staff was very friendly and the room very big and clean. It was close to the city, yet in green sorroundings and we felt welcome. I cannot compare it to other hotels in Burundi - but I feel that value for money was ok.

The area is at a safe location close to the presidential area. Very reserved quiet place. Friendly hotel staff. Free drinking water for clients. They serve breakfast at your convenience time. Cleaning a room at your convenience time.

MalawiThe facility lacked some important features. Internet was very poor as it could not be accessed for most of the time. Secondly the rooms didn’t have television. Thirdly, there were no drinking water in the rooms. One had to always ask water from the reception. Fourth, breakfast was boring. The only menu was about fruits, bread and eggs. No choice for other type of food. Lastly, the rooms didn’t have provisions for tea or coffee. Generally I didn’t find value for money. In this age, it is an insult to go to a hotel with no basic amenities like television and internet. Some of my friends relocated to other places because they were not happy with substandard services at this hotel. I remained because I had no choice because I paid for all my days.

BelgiumThis place is one of the most welcoming I've ever stayed in. The personnel is very professional and does everything to accommodate guests. It's very well located, in a calm and safe neighborhood. Walking distance to the city centre and very close to the university. The rooms are very spacious and clean, there is airconditioning, electricity is semi-permanent, and if not, a generator is taking over. You can have a very good breakfast on your balcony, whenever you want. While the rooms are not the newest, they are clean, and the beds very comfortable. I will definitely recommend this hotel, and will come back here.

AustriaMuffly smell in the room; Miscommunication - hotel offered an additional bed for free automatically on booking website, however, at the place they refused to provide it. Paying with a credit card was not possible, the hotel accepts only US dollars, which are difficult to find. I had to withdraw Burundi francs from the card and exchange it into US dollars for that purpose which turned out to be a complete financial disaster- the exchange rates are crazy and I paid double the price for the hotel!
