    “Beautiful place with a great garden, with friendly little monkeys that keep you company at breakfast. In a calm and lovely area near the beach, 15 min walk from the historic centre, over a hill but not difficult and well-lit at night. The service is kind and helpful with all needs, including boat trips and laundry.”

    “Wonderful location, right in the middle of the rainforest, and a short walk to several attractions (waterfalls, a swimming hole and cachaça distilleries). 20-25 min walk to the bus stop to Paraty, supermarket and cafe so the place is a bit secluded but for us this was the casa's main charm. We spent hours sitting on the balcony, watching birds and monkeys, or listening to the rain, the river and the sounds of the forest. The room is comfortable, good bed and pillows, super quiet and dark at night. The host is very helpful and welcoming.”

    “The hotel is a really pretty colonial building. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were lovely and decorated nicely. The breakfast was good with a large selection and a good atmosphere. We did a day tour on the last day and didn't get a bus until 10pm and they stored our bags for free without a problem.”

    “We had breakfast with the little monkeys almost every day 😁 The rooms are simple but reasonably comfortable. We went in the winter so it was really quiet. Staff is very friendly, went with two small boys and they loved it.”

    “When simplicity meets comfort! The place is fabulous, clean, and cozy. The staff is lovely and attentive. The location is also great and peaceful. The highlight is the incredible breakfast: fresh, delicious, and complete - made with love. The world needs more waffles de pão de queijo. :)”
