We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomIn the room it would have been good for a table or somewhere to put things down. It was a large room with a bed and a chair nothing major just something for things would have been nice. Also the window we had was into the kitchen so could be loud sometimes but not too bad.
The location was great, the staff amazing and it was relatively quiet. The room was also big with lots of space. We also had access to the main Misti suites which was fun to go and experience and get a free beach chair

United StatesI stayed in room #1 with a private bathroom. It has one window that opens into the shared kitchen ( over the sink) which adjoins the lobby/ common area. The window is not air tight so the noise is disturbing. There were people breaking up ice at midnight. The ac barely kept the room cool and then stopped. I was instructed to flip the breaker in the kitchen to get it started again. I think the staff does what they can to keep it clean and be helpful. It was not very full so after the first night it was quieter. Shower has one knob so you could not adjust the temperature. It got hot at times.
They don’t have staff 24/7 but they were responsive using WhatsApp. Check in was easy once I found the place ( there is no sign) . The cleaning person does a great job but the room is basic and dated. These are not “suites”.

United Kingdomthe kitchen was the en suit for a bleak bedroom. There was no water for 2 days we was promised a full refund which hasn’t happened and I am still discussing now with the hotel owner. I have paid for 2 hotels because of this issue!

SwedenVery dirty upon arrival. Hair on the sheets, garbage bin in the room was full, mouldy and dirty bathroom (we had the room w/ private bathroom) with bugs flying around, towels smelled weird. Shower barely worked (no hot water and extremely low water pressure). Shared kitchen was filthy and smelled bad. Bedroom window had a view of the kitchen and couldn't be closed properly so that the smells and sounds traveled easily to our room. Uncomfortable bed and terrible quality standards all around. We were supposed to be there for 3 nights but stayed only the first night (due to difficulties finding another place last minute), after that we moved to a hotel nearby. We have not received any refund as of yet, so we basically paid double but it was simply impossible to stay at this place. Have traveled quite a bit and can easily say I've never been to such a dirty and uncomfortable place.
Wi-fi worked well, check in was smooth, early check in available.
