That I couldn’t spend more time here

The location was amazing, the property was safe, the hot tub was incredible, the breakfast included was so amazing and there was lots of it, it’s close to a very nice beach (10 minutes walking) and it’s easy to get an uber to the centre.

Such an amazing stay at Casa Amarela. We stayed at the private suite with the insuite bathroom. The place was perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious and it was a in a secure location with a 24hour security guard at neighborhood. 8 mins walk to the beach and 10 min uber to bus station and downtown to go on boat trips. Best thing was the host Janaina who didn't speak any English but was so patient and nice and helped us each day. Renata was also super helpful as she messaged us via WhatsApp before arriving and gave us all the information and we could speak to her throughout our stay. We loved everything about Casa Amarela and would love to go back!

Nothing. Everything was amazing.

Casa amarela is amazing. Firstly on the place itself, the balcony has an amazing view. Great place to have their delicious breakfast, talk/hamg out, and watch amazing sunsets. The jacuzzi/churrasqueira area is also phenomenal, easy to reserve for the evening. Our party was split among different rooms and they were all great. Secondly, the staff is amazing. Renata provided a lot of information before our arrival. The boat operator recommendstion was fantastic! We departed from essentially across the street and didn't have to deal with driving to the town pier. Janaina was the person who welcomed us and she is equally wonderful. We had an additional party member join us unexpectedly and they were able to accommodate us on a short notice.

Leaving it!

After travelling continuously for 6 months, you realise what makes a great place to stay and it’s the people. Casa Amarela is in a really quiet condominium with an amazing view of a small harbour. We had the family room which was super comfortable and so clean. The breakfast each morning was delicious and in the afternoon the team put on an afternoon tea with fruit, cake and biscuits plus coffee, a very welcome surprise! The owners Renata and Jùlio are so welcoming and spoke English which made everything so much easier for us. Júlio helped us book a boat tour and gave us loads of helpful info on the area etc. We wished we had stayed longer but we will definitely be back!

I stayed with friends after a week in Rio. It was very relaxing and nice. Everybody went above and beyond to make our stay great. Thanks to the amazing staff, especially Mariza.

Unfortunately there was a problem with so.e equipment (jacuzzi was broken, as well as the water heater). While the owner immediately got a workaround for the water heater, jacuzzi was being repaired during my stay. But I trust that will be solved when you read this review, as owners are clearly on top of things and committed to provide you the best possible stay.

The house is very cosy, very well decorated and with great equipment to make your stay comfortable. Staff and owners are very kind and attentive. Breakfast is plenty, diverse and delicious. Location is great, close to city center, but not too much, with great views and close to the lovely Praia do Café (recommend the sunrise there).

Cute rooms, clean bathrooms, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and best of all was the host! She is very communicative, friendly and helped us out a bunch with recommendations etc. We liked it so much we came back a 2nd time!
