BrazilThe location of the pousada is not as picturesque as the more upscale ones throughout the island but this is pretty much expected, provided these others are many times more expensive.
Casa do Imperador is a comfy pousada located on a simple street yet pretty close to the town centre. The rooms are clean and well maintained, albeit quite small (only have size for a massive king-size bed and pretty much nothing else). Nando, the person responsible for preparing breakfast every day, is super nice, polite and makes sure you are taken care of as good as possible - he prepares a very complete breakfast with much care which helps to kickstart your day in Noronha. I really liked the bed (its rare to find comfy mattresses and pillows in small pousadas in Brazil, usually) and the Wifi connection (provided by Starlink so pretty fast and unlimited data) was surprisingly good and constant, considering you are in the middle of nowhere! Ar conditioning in the room was also quiet and effective!

I had an amazing stay at Casa do Imperador that made the entire Fernando Noronha experience unforgettable - the place is very well located, the staff is absolutely amazing and they treated us like family during the entire stay, always available to help with anything and very very friendly. Loved it :) The breakfast is delicious

United StatesThe breakfast was very basic. Same every day. Coffee was overly super strong!!! Not drinkable!! Our room was super small, very cramped, you can barely walk around the bed. Not enough power outlets. Very noisy when other guest arrive. Limited outdoor space. Would not stay again. They should provide drinkable water. You can not drink tap water in Brazil.

Very friendly and helpful staff, even though most of them don't speak English, especially Cris. Got free rides through town and to the airport, contacts and information. Good location.

BrazilUnfortunately the property owner was not very concerned about the problems we brought to him during the stay, even though he was staying at the hotel himself: the wifi did not work at the room we were staying, only in part of the hotel - he said he had already hired another one for that part but it didnt arrive yet, so, tough luck. The cleaning service only comes every 3 days - which we find absurd for such a high daily rate and considering it is a beach location - you come from the beach with sand and wet clothes every day, so in 3 days the room is very dirty even if you are very clean. We had a leak in the toilet and asked them to come fix it in the very first day and no one came, ever, until the day we left.
Beautiful decor, excellent breakfast. The staff was great, in particular Nando, one of the staff person that made everything to ensure our stay was the best possible.

BrazilVery small rooms, poor cleaning, bad location, (very poor area), pool is just a bath tub with unclean water, it is not and Hotel, its a house with 6 small rooms, breakfast is prepared in the kitchen at 6am, very close to the rooms, we could not sleep after the lady starts making noises setting the table, cooking and using the mixer. I will never return to that place, tried to cancel and move to another hotel but the owner was inflexible.
