The only downside is the wooden windows, which don’t insulate well, making it hard to maintain room temperature. There were occasional power outages, turning off the air conditioning at night.

Small and cozy, with few rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. The building has a colonial charm, lots of wood, and light décor. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. High-quality breakfast. The pool is the highlight, offering an incredible view of the bay. A 10-minute walk leads to a paradisiacal beach with great restaurants. Quiet location, surrounded by the forest and near a small community.

The sea wasn't very clean but not the fault of the property, but was a shame, sea food restaurant on the beach was great though

That we had to leave? The hotel and its setting were practically paradise and I would definitely recommend staying for longer than a day or two to really get into the relaxation vibe.

My wife and I stayed here for around 9 days on our honeymoon and couldn't be happier with our choice! Gustavo was very attentive and helpful, arranging transport and trips for us to make the most of our time in Paraty and the local area. In fact, all of the staff were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is gorgeous, modern, and very clean. It's surrounded by greenery with a spectacular view over a beach out to the sea. We wanted quite a relaxed holiday so spent most of our time relaxing at the hotel, taking in the view, swimming, or on our room's balcony. Paraty (10 mins by car) as a town was enjoyable with a good selection of bars and restaurants, although we mainly enjoyed just wandering the streets and taking in the sun. Definitely check out Atelier do Dalcir if you like ceramics and Montañita Cafés if you like coffee. Overall we can't fault our whole experience and didn't want it to end. Hopefully we can return in the future to celebrate an anniversary - thank you Gustavo and team!

Everything was incredible! The service is exceptional, and such a beautiful, relaxing space. the views, the food and facilities are also perfect! you are a little further out from the old town of Paraty but it is a short car journey away and you have easy access to taxi’s that the hotel arranges for you so you have best of both worlds, and you are close to a beautiful beach and restaurant.

if the weather is bad (as it was for us for 2 out of 5 days) there is not a lot to do in the area.

the location is just amazing, the view from the terrace is perfect to wind down. the staff is great and always really helpful! a big plus is the 24h honesty bar where you can mix your own caipirinha with quality cachaca! my personal highlight were the two resident cats.
