I arrived quite early in the morning at the airport and even though I had informed, I had to wait 2 hours in order to get a reply how to go inside the room. This was a bit stressful for me because I was solo traveling from Europe and when I didn't get an answer on time, I thought I will not have a room. Also the check in was by video call, which was not convinient for me at all, as after so many hours trip, my battery was going down quickly and I wanted to reach the room as soon as possible. But I think my case was exceptional because of the time of the check in (it was very early so I can understand why) , because otherwise the people were very nice in general.

The place was very very clean, it was perfect for a stay between my flights, the people are really kind and nice and they were replying immideately in my messages through whatsapp, and also the other poeple staying in this apartment were respecful and quiet (it was like shared apartment with seperate rooms, all locked, shared bathroom). In general everything good during my stay there.

I recently booked a very simple room for a one-night stay near the airport and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The room was exactly as described—basic, clean, and comfortable. We were looking for somewhere to stay close to the airport and found this lovely place, which is a 12 minute Uber ride from Rio's international airport. The lady who checked us in was nice albeit she spoke no English, and she sorted our transfer to and from the airport.

It was nice for short stay. The rooms are very small.

We stayed a few hours before our flight in evening. The best part was that the room was ready for us at 10 AM. It was very hot day. Most hours we spent in the room after short walk in a park near by. Everything was very clean.

The hallway was narrow and long. The stairs were narrow and steep. It is a shared shower/bathroom situation, so be prepared to walk through the hall to get to the shower/bathroom. There was no AC in the room, so it was miserably hot inside.

The location is great! Close to everything we want to see like the Sugar Loaf, Christ the Redeemer. Close to places to eat, and shopping malls. The host speaks English which was very helpful to us since we do not speak Portuguese. He allowed us to check our luggage in early.

Appertment is at the end of the complex, need walk 500m tp the main entrance. We had early flight, the main entrance is lock. After asking people then we know there is another side entrance to the complex.

The apartment was a little far away from the places we wanted to go to in Rio so we only stayed one night, but if there were things in the future I wanted to do close to the apartment I would have definitely stayed longer!

The apartment was so clean and the bed was so comfy! The host kept in touch before our stay and gave us all the guidelines for staying at the apartment and assisted when we struggled to find the apartment on the night of our stay. It was really close to the airport and only cost about 30 R$ for the taxi, and the neighbourhood seemed very nice. The apartment complex was gated and the building we stayed in had its own gate, plus a lock on the main door, the door to the apartment and one for our room so we felt extremely safe

Location - this is a great place if you land late and / or have an early flight, but other than that there's nothing else to do by walking distance. The room we stayed in was right by a busy street and woke us up very early due to the noise. Just something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper. It's not a hostel, however note that you'll hear other people coming, going and chatting in their room.

Host is very kind and helpful. Everything you need to know is made very clear. Room is very simple and clean. NOTE THAT this is a room in an apartment with other rooms and a shared bathroom - no commun areas. Additionally, the driver (Lucas) who picked us up from the airport was really lovely.
