I wish they were a little more flexible with late check out. They only give you until 12:30pm and then have to charge you, even if you wanted to stay until 2pm.

Great hotel, I found it very comfortable and taken care of. The staff is very nice and helpful, they were able to accommodate one of my requests easily. I enjoyed that.

Building seemed to be under maintenance with exposed walls and wiring. The pool was closed so we didn’t get to see the view from the top floor.

Well located and with stunning views of the ocean. Great breakfast. Rooms had a good standard, were comfortable and clean.

The swimming pool was not open and looked like it was closed for a long time. The photos of the pool on the advertising should be removed as it is misleading.

The restaurant took a long time to make a salad and made it up, rather than giving what it said on the menu, however the food was excellent in general.

Great location across the road from the beach. Close to the city centre to see the history and culture or for a night out. Comfortable beds and the best shower I experienced in Brazil in 6 months!

The restaurant and the breakfast are reallllyyyy bad. You can pay a bit more or even the same price for a much better one. There is a AC leaking in the whole building, not kidding. On my floor, gym, and even a huge leaking on the window!!!! Also the toilet not so cleaned. Not sure how many stars is the hotel but I would say max 3.

Staff people are super friendly and can give you many valuable tips. There is also a gym but quite small but fine. The apartment with the ocean view is quite nice....

Sometimes the elevator is toooooo busy, in few times the wait even exceeded 20 minutes, every time when elevator door opened, it was full, so I had to take the stairs.

Only issue I had was trying to contact the reception through the phone, it wasn't working. Personally, it was not a big issue for me. Everything else was great.

Beatiful view, comfortable suite, it met up the expectations.

The bathroom was very tiny compared to the rest of the space. No hairdryer? The acoustic isolation is very poor, you can hear everything, from the conversation on the window of a neighbour, to the doors in the corridor. Also we took 2 rooms, we had no chance at all with one room, because the neighbours did a party with around 15 people in their room! They were more than loud partying all night long! Until we went down to the reception and asked for solve the issue. It was unfortunately not solved with the staff of the night turn. So we are very disappointed.

It is written above. The manager, Cátia, should never be in that position. They had a not ready pool and when it rainned once, the water was there for 6 days and I warned them of the possibility (big( of mosquito reproduction and giving disease of dengue and zica and chicungunha. But the manager would not take measures. I warned all of the hotel hospedes I could of that risk and also the manager. The prices of things in the hotel were very high, so I told many friends to shop their drinks and food at tne bakery and supermarket nearby. They moved us 3 times of rooms til we finally got one that satisfied. They would not accept your fees so I had to pay their fees which were much higher than Booking´s. At the end, we stayed til the 14th and wanted to stay until the 17th, but they fired us from the hotel saying that I was telling bad things about the hotel to my hotel friends. Well, it was my obligation to warn them. That was all done by the manager , Cátia, who did not move her ass to help us. When I felt, they said I was drunk. How could I get drunk drinking champagne with lots of ice and water and shared with friends? Someone from the cleaning section stolled my pillow, one I had bought at the supermarket and had written one some recepeis from the TV.The size of the pillow was much smaller than the ones from the room. I moved to Transamerica hotel, just less than 100 mts from the hy. and finally I had peace. for 3 days. That was my nightmare at HY.

The location but dificult to clim the stairs that give access to the reception. Staff was good, except the manager, a person that should never be in this position there. The post should be given to someone else like Yasmin, a very nice and competent recepcionist. I just hate that woman . She made us move 3 times rooms until we finally found one with microwave oven and higienic showers of the intimate parts of our body. But the water still went all to the room and corridor. We had then cloths to dry those parts because if we waited for the cleaner woman to come, she would take so much time that by the time she would arrive, someone or one of us would have felt. One day, I got lost looking for a flat to buy. I walked about 3 kms in the Boa Viagem bairro (region) and about 3 kms to come back. Thanks to a strong young poor guy, I got to get back to the hotel I grabbed on his shoulder and slowlly got back to the hotel. Had to climb a real mountain (about 100 mts of stairs to get access to the reception. ) I had promissed 20 reais to the guy , but I was sooo tired that when I got to the room, I felt asleep. The guy went up to the security entrance and Moisés told him to go down to the beach. They could have called me to give the money to the guy. The next day I was really tired and with a lot of pain all over my body, especially my legs, cause I have protesis in both legs (femurs). I went to the supermarket and bought a lot of things. At night, I went to the beach cause I could not stand the heat of the day sun. I took a champagne with lots of ice and water and drank with friends I had made at the beach small wall. Sitted. When I went up, I fell in those stairs that give access to the reception. Broke my pulse, and had my costelas bit, my two thumbs of the hands and feet. Also my tornozelos and my front head, from where came a lot of blood. They said I was drunk. How could I get drunk drinking a champagne with lots of water and ice and share with f

Hard to lock a booking from abroad with international credit card.

Very friendly staff. Conveniently located and amazing views of the beach. Will definitely stay there on my next trip. Good value for your money.

Rooms are wear out, needs some refresh. Demand was not always met following a call to the reception, regarding one incident due to a storm. Finally, we find a way to fix it ourselves.

Perfect location. Not far from the airport and beach just in front, great options for eating out and shopping. Good staff.
